This was one of our best stays in Romania.
Set in beautiful rolling hills of Bucovina, Casa Jucan is the perfect place to stay. As well as the three traditional homes it is also run as a small holding. They have pigs, cows, sheep and chickens and all the food served is produced on site. This includes fresh milk, home made pastrami and smoked meats, home made butter, yogurt and cheese as well as preserves and vegetables. They also had some very nice apple juice, wine and spirits which we were also home made.
The accommodation itself was beautiful and was like stepping back in time; but with hot water and electricity! We were made to feel very welcome and our children loved roaming around and playing with the young dog. The owners spent a lot of time talking to us and treated us exceptionally well.
We stayed in the oldest of the three houses and stayed in traditional bedrooms with wood fired heaters. We can’t recommend Casa Jucan highly enough.

Lots of space, own playground. We were on vacation with a small child, so this is a big plus, the pluses ended there.

It was a good location, very clean and the rooms perfect. The staff were very helpful and made the stay.
Hotel Zamca Suceava, next to Manastirea Zamca, offers a bowling alley, a football field and a nightclub on site. From the rooms you can see the city of Suceava and the surrounding countryside.

Very cozy, spacious,stylish and fresh looking room. Very nice staff, cozy bed and each day cleaning service. We stayed here for 5 days and felt like home. We liked breakfast a la cart and in the restaurant and dinners with various tasty local dishes and live music there. The food in their restaurant is much better than we tried in other places in that town.
