What is a pleasant surprise to find this small rural B&B! Very quiet and peaceful location, comfortable bed, traditional Portuguese casa layout. We loved common room with chairs and fireplace. Peter, our host, made us feel welcomed and well cared. Breakfast was exquisite with homemade jams, honey, yogurt with granola and fruits, etc.
Mosteiro's River Beach is only 5 min drive and it was really nice to swim on hot day.
Keep in mind it is a small village, no restaurants or nightlife but we consider it as advantage. I hope more people will discover this place and stay with Peter and Lineke

The house was charming, with excellent facilities, and very clean. Check in was super smooth. We loved the extremely quiet location and the comfortable beds and excellent AC. Our hostess went above and beyond to arrange dog walking for our pets while we were doing an activity in Góis for the day. A sure bet if you are looking for something in a rural area with all the creature comforts of home.
What a find. Out in the middle of nowhere, it was great. Great hotel, good parking. However, in the middle of nowhere, so you have to eat in hotel. We got there at 1730 to be told we cannot eat there as no room in restaurant. With some persuasion, the 'head of catering' got us in, so we could eat. Book a table in advance or don't go. Room was fabulous as was the swimming pool with incredible views. We would definitely go again as long as we can book a table. Next time we will stay longer, it's that good.
Fantastic location, the views were incredible. We had a junior suite with a superior panoramic view. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful gardens. Good breakfasts, everything was fresh, despite the hotel being nearly empty at winter time.
