This is a unique and exceptional property with a fascinating history. It has been lovingly restored by its current owners who have maintained its original features combined with modern comfort without compromising its charm. The location was perfect for us. We have a caravan 15 minutes drive away but it was too hot during the extreme heat wave, so we needed somewhere nearby cooler. No Aircon but big fan and great windows you can leave open at night with mosquito net & shutters to keep it cool during the daytime.
The outside space was nice to sit out. It was peaceful and close to a shop & restaurants. Had Washing machine, coffee machine, but you would need a car.

The Three Marias is a very comfortable, pretty, friendly guesthouse in a lovely rural location, and Peter and Lineke could not be more helpful or welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and it was wonderful to have shady, outdoor spaces that we were welcome to use all day. Breakfast was also exceptional, with warm, local bread, Lineke's home baked cakes and fresh fruit. The guesthouse is also within easy reach of several river beaches, and only an hour from the coast. All in all, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

The views from the hotel are astounding, The room was clean and the staff in the reception and the dining area very helpful. we had an evening meal which was really good quality and a good portion size. There was nothing to complain about and we certainly go back again
Fantastic location, the views were incredible. We had a junior suite with a superior panoramic view. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful gardens. Good breakfasts, everything was fresh, despite the hotel being nearly empty at winter time.
