Breakfast was good. It was nice to relax in the spacious lobby area with friends at the end of the day(we travelled in a group). The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were also well attended by helpful friendly staff. The pool was a bonus!

This hotel is an older hotel however the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was great. The hotel has many levels and areas worth exploring. The location is excellent for all of the sites and exploring the many small restaurants and bars in the area. The breakfast has many hot and continental choices.

The building seemed brand new. The pool is gorgeous. Each room has a balcony overlooking the golf course and ocean. Bed was larger than king! Bathroom new and clean. Could have stayed a week and enjoyed it. Highly recommend! It’s a robe and slippers place :)

Good place to stay in Lagos , near to bus station and marina, boat tours and town center and cafes. It was very clean, decent breakfast, nothing to complain. Accommodation is good, has indoor bar and fire place to sit. Would have preferred better coffee instead of a machine brewed Nestle coffee. Tea selection was limited and had no option to get hot milk. Only cold milk was available.
Within sight of the marina, Marina Club Lagos Resort is just a short walk from Lagos’ historic center and provides guests with luxurious accommodations close to Meia Praia Beach.

With a long and rich history, Lagos is nowadays a famous beach resort of the sunny Portuguese region of Algarve. Including wide sandy beaches and quiet coves enclosed by ochre cliffs, it also offers a lively city centre with one of the best mixes between history and modernity in the region.
King Henry the Navigator chose it as a base for his trips of discovery during the 15th century, and later on, it became the residence of the Algarve governors. The Old Town is circled by medieval walls, typical narrow streets, historic buildings and charming squares. B&B’s and hotels in Lagos’s historic centre allow you to enjoy these picturesque surroundings.
Apart from being an important centre for sailing, the city has amazing beaches, like Meia Praia or Praia da Dona Ana. Resorts and hotels on Lagos’ beaches are the perfect choice for sun lovers, while the hotels near the modern Lagos Marina are popular, as they are both close to the centre and the railway station.
The city is 90 km from Faro Airport, and 24 km from Portimão. Check out the Lagos hotels deals on Booking.com before travelling!
Historical with modern amenities. Bus schedule was a bit tricky as not all stops had fixed arrival times but easy enough to sort out. Many good restaurants and shops. Friendly owners and people. Cliff trails and boardwalks were phenomenal. Plenty of excursions available. Fresh fish at markets!

Very nice at the end of November. Only one great sunset in four days. Plenty of bars and restaurants, fun Xmas decorations. Perhaps best that it wasn´t very busy. Good walks along the coast in both directions.

Lagos is a wonderful city with friendly people, amazing food, and beautiful sites and buildings. We loved eating in the city center and especially the pastel de nata. Walking around the city was easy and for farther distances, an Uber was very easy to order. The coast lines are absolutely stunning and the board walks to see areas such as Praia do Camilo and Ponta da Piedade were incredible.

Old town fantastic to explore, with some
hidden gems.
Coastline is incredible.
We were there the last week in September, everywhere was open and busy, but the throngs were not present. I would be hesitant to go
in the height of season especially with the heat.

The old town was fascinating. Walk everywhere and get lost!
The old town was fascinating. Walk everywhere and get lost! The museum is well worth a visit as is the fort. Take a boat trip to the grottos and also walk along the boardwalks out to the lighthouse to Ponta da Piedade. walk through the marina and along the boardwalks over the dunes of Meia Praia. So many excellent restaurants difficult to choose a favorite.

This is one of the best places we have stayed. Very welcoming owners of a family run hotel with an excellent location with views of the marina and the river from the terrace. It is a small hotel that has been tastefully decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast is excellent as is the location in easy reach of bus or train. We cannot praise the owners enough for running a hotel meant for people who do not need a TV in their room and appreciate peace and quiet.
Location is right on the beach and can't be beaten. They also helpfully rent out beach towels (you have to leave a deposit but you get the money back when you return the towel). The breakfast is decent - there are some hot foods (eggs, sausages, beans), cheese, cold meats, fruit, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, etc. There is a parking lot outside the hotel which I imagine would get quite busy in the hotter months but we had no trouble getting a park
I think that the Tivoli Lagos was the most unique hotel that I've stayed at. I could imagine Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall there. Built on a hillside it was laid out in a series or wings around central gardens with Koi and Turtle ponds. Beautiful! That staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent.
Zventan is a great host, great with communication!
We loved our stay in Porto de Mos, it’s out of the town but only 30 minute walk or cheap Uber. The beach in front of the property is the best beach in Lagos and the view from the balcony, nothing could compare! We wish we could have stayed longer.
