i stayed one week at this lovely place and although the weather was not the best, i enjoyed every single day🤗
when i arrived, the owner welcomed me with some special and delicious fruits, i have never seen before and one day i got a private tour
through the whole fruit garden which is very huge not only around the house, there is also
a big plantation in the hills nearby and there are a lot more fruits of all kinds with mainly origin from brazil
there is also a minimarket nearby and with the car you can explore this special island with its very dramatic and narrow streets and breathtaking villages on the coastline...

Great view!!! The breakfast basket was a lovely welcoming gift and the host was very friendly, always reachable and ready to help.
Yes, the setup is a bit basic as the other comments suggest but you have everything you need for cooking, the bed is very comfy and the bungalow was clean. And that view on Pico is just incredible! :))

Great location. Several dining and shopping options within walking distance but bear in mind that Velas is relatively small.. I enjoyed the shared kitchen, fridge and deck with a view of the sunset and Mount Pico.
