The rooms are spacious, well iluminated, pleasant, and clean. The beds are comfortable. We could not hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. The garden is well maintained, quiet, and has enough shade spots. The swimming pool is ok for cooling down and playing with family/kids. The breakfast is quite good.

Beautiful tradition home in the perfect location! It is clean, private and offers great panoramic views of Estoi and surrounding area! We really enjoyed exploring the town, meeting the locals in the nearby cafes and restaurants! We cannot wait to come back here!

A delightful little agrotourismo hotel perched on a hillside midst olive groves and farmland, just 20 minutes from Faro. Very quiet and tranquil - apart from the odd owl,
The staff are welcoming and the breakfast buffet simple and delicious, featuring homemade jams and pancakes as well as a range of breads, cold meats, cheese, fruit and yogurt and scrambled egg. The pool and terrace are lovely and the views across the valley, beautiful.
Our room a little balcony were perfect.
We were visiting for just a couple of nights so we could meet up with family staying a few miles away so we didn't have a hire car. Uber filled the gap.

Friendly, accommodating hosts. Lovely breakfast spread. Peaceful, rural setting with lovely views and lots of sunshine. Spacious, comfortable, modern room with everything you need. The staff did our laundry for an extra fee and folded everything so nicely.

Everything! The owner is really lovely and very accommodating. She let us checkin early and also extended the checkout time because she didn’t need to get the room ready for anyone else that day. The bedroom was exceptionally clean and the bed was really comfortable. The property is beautiful and within walking distance to the centre of Estoi.

It's really hard to find a positive aspect of our experience... Nothing sounds about the right answer. I RARELY complain because bad experiences are not often the results of bad intentions, but sorry, here I must warn future potential guests.
AP Eva Senses is centrally located in Faro and offers a roof-top pool and a health club with sauna and Turkish bath. The airport and beach are only 6.2 mi away.

Huge room with a balcony, service was great and interior decor was luxurious. Also, best location
Located in downtown Faro just a 5-minute walk from the train station and the bus terminal, this modern hotel overlooks the old town, marina and the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
This hotel is just 66 feet from Santo António Street and 656 feet from Manuel Bivar Garden and Faro Marina. Stay Hotel Faro Centro has a bar, in addition to free WiFi throughout.
This is a fascinating little village. There is a shop of some kind around every corner (but it does mean you have to explore a lot to find everything!). It has a bizarre one-way system (do NOT DRIVE THE WRONG WAY TO THE HOTEL!). The sustainable produce shop just around the corner from the hotel was fascinating - and even sell products in hand-luggage sizes!

The Palace and the Roman ruins are worth a trip to this small and otherwise typical town; and Casa de Estoi is the loveliest place I stayed in over a two week trip throughout Portugal, with one exception. The host Jose is delightful!

Estoi is a lovely little town.
Estoi is a lovely little town. Please DO NOT GO TO OLHAO though - the police are corrupt and target tourists vehicles. They only clamp hire cars and leave the locals alone, they are a disgrace to the country! The town hall worker (in Olhao) stands about all day and hands ready made maps to tourist to show them where to pay the fines. I will never return to Portugal until these corrupt officials are removed!

The town of Estói is lovely with beautiful walks down the narrow lanes off the Church square. There are cafes, bars and shops. It is possible to walk into the local hills from the town where there are lovely views. There is easy road access to Faro, Olhão, Tavira and other coastal towns all with a great choice and range of restaurants, bars and beautiful buildings. The train along the coast is a great trip. There are ferries from Faro and Olhão to some lovely islands 20 to 30 minutes away. The apartment we stayed in - Estoi Terraces was excellent, spacious and comfy with a lovely outdoor area. Easy parking outside the block. The owner was really friendly and helpful and easy to contact.

There are few shops and only one restaurant.
There are few shops and only one restaurant. There are just two things to see- the palace which is now a hotel and it is not open to non-guests and the Roman site which is interesting. A day visit is sufficient to see both if they are open. Walking in the area was not comfortable.
Wonderful breakfasts! An idyllic very rural setting with great views. Delightful hosts who run a an exceptional small quinta hotel Loved the pool, the gardens, the superb room, the relaxed atmosphere, the views (so many birds!). Everything was perfect for us and please remember that this was only 20 minutes from the port and city centre of Olhao, so easy access to Culatra and the islands, and within easy reach of Faro. What more could you wish for? Can't wait to return in October!
We were greeted by Isabel and once checked in, she kindly showed us around and to our room. Although it is very rural, the peace and tranquility are great although Estoi or Sao Bras de Alportel are only about 10 mins drive away. Our room was very comfortable with a good 'fridge and plenty of space with an ample sized balcony overlooking the pool. It was just a shame that the weather was not better otherwise we would have enjoyed having relaxing time around the pool area.
Very lovely old hotel. The best beds in the Algarve. Rooms very nicely decorated. We even had a terrace! It was very quiet so we slept like a log.
Great breakfast too, what luxury!
The host was very welcoming and friendly. Very good service!
Estoi is a nice and quiet place to spend a day or two.
Highly recommended!
Peaceful hotel a 10 minute drive from Faro. Spacious room with private outdoor space. Minimalist style decor with very good facilities. Very good breakfast. Thai restaurant on site very good but you need a car for other restaurants and sightseeing. Nice grounds and very clean small pool.
