The view is breathtaking.
The tent is spaceous enough, and the inflated bed is really confortable. The kitchen and bathroom we're equiped with all we needed.
The gas barbecue was a great companion and served us well for 2 barbecue nights.
The tap water is fresh and good to drink.
The pool is great to chill out from the rising Baião heat.
One of the best parts is the owner thoughtfull caring and preocupation for our well-being at the tent. Paul is a great guy and was always available to help. He even got us some extra tools to fulfill our needs. He always respected our privacy, letting us enjoy these wonderful vacations. We are excited to return in the future!

We had an exceptional stay! We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the accommodation and the hosts' availability. The house offers a spacious environment and is equipped with everything one might need. Absolutely beautiful house with the best facilities of any we’ve stayed in! The cinema and games rooms were a huge hit with the children (and big kids!!), as was the pool area with its gorgeous views. Good location for exploring the Douro valley. Beautiful place by the Douro river. But it is a bit far from other attractions and villages. Also no supermarket or restaurants nearby. You have to take the train or car to get there. But if you want a special experience in the beautiful Douro valley, this is the place.

We went to Baião because we wanted to visit Eça de Queirós Foundation. It fulfilled our expectations. There is a restaurant there so it is possible to enjoy the afternoon at the Foundation.
There are also preserved villages to be visited and, of course, the Douro!

First of all I was sort of upset with the time we took to get there but it was absolutely worth it. It brought peace to my soul. I'm very much in love with it there. The view, the kind people, the vineyards and their culture is so sweet and cute. I want to definitely go back

We stayed in Baiao because it was central to Lamego, Douro River Valley, Peneda Geres National Park, Braga, Guimares and Amarante. It's best to take the main road to Amarante first, if you are in a hurry, and then go to your destination.
A great place to stay and a lovely family run hotel. We were made to feel wonderfully welcome by the owners. Very comfortable and clean and a fantastic breakfast. The Aircon was a great relief in the heat and the pool too. Highly recommended.
The cleanliness of the entire home, the house and view was above our expectations, an exceptional breakfast, the hosts were so kind and generous. Our bedroom was like a 5 star hotel with all our requests granted (large bed).
Lovely view from the room/balkony to the Douro valley. Modern and clean. Very friendly and helpful hosts (Miquel met us in Baiao to assist with finding the place). Tasty home made natural yoghurt and juice.
Hotel style and architecture was great. the views were spectacular. The room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly.
