A fantastic hotel in the heart of Douro. The hotel is brand new, the views are exceptional and the room is spacious and confortable. The facilities are also quite good (pool, spa, bar...). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice experience!

Breathtaking views. The area is stunning and so peaceful. We drove into some of the small villages and the locals were so friendly. We prefer to eat away from the tourist areas and we were not disappointed in this area. The food was fresh and tasty and very reasonable.

The room was beautifully positioned and set out to make the most of the view, the gardens and pool areas are lovely. It’s let down by lack of a nice indoor bar area that takes advantage of the view and we had a poor experience in the lower restaurant on our second night
