We were in San Juan for two days and spent one day wandering...
We were in San Juan for two days and spent one day wandering Old San Juan and one day in Santurce/Condado. There is a lot to do in the city and I would have been happy to stay for a couple of days longer. Old San Juan is surprisingly well-renovated and maintained, and the other parts of town that we explored were also interesting.

Really liked character of city, so walkable with many streets to explore a photographers dream. Very friendly people lots of local shops with local made items as well as many souvenir shops. Local bakeries, coffee shops and bars. We ate at La Madres (Mexican) and Barrachina the home of the pina colada (Puerto Rico cuisine) and had coffee in Finca Cialitos, great coffee! Popped into Cafeteria Mallorca for a few sweet Puerto Rican pasteries,

Old San Juan was charming, easy access to walkers. The power outages where challenging especially since 2 restaurants we chose were without power. We will return to San Juan, but with check on the electrical repairs.

It was easy to get around by car.
It was easy to get around by car. Lots of traffic in and out of San Juan, but that’s normal for most cities. People are very friendly and as an elderly person traveling alone I felt safe. Be sure to schedule Salsa lessons with @kangarican he is very friendly and helpful.

The San Juan area is interesting and offers a diverse array of things to see/do from the modernness of Condado and Isla Verde/hotel districts to the beautiful and interesting Old San Juan with a large array of smaller stores ranging from tourist gifts, jewelry and really good local arts & crafts. Within a short drive is El Yunque Tropical Rain Forest US National Park (most of this park can be seen by car, and there are various trails that can be accessed), and also Camuy Caves (3rd largest in the world). A longer drive will give you access to he Bioluminescent Bays (Fajardo and La Parguera). It is recommended to check that these parks and attractions are open.

Lovely and tastefully decorated room, beautiful setting, huge and comfortable bed. Easy check-in and check-out. Unfortunately we were only there for one night and had to leave early in the morning so we never met the staff, had breakfast, or used any of the facilities. But the place was very quick to respond online to any questions I had. It's obviously not in the beautiful Old San Juan (hence it's half the price of a hotel there!) but it's a quick and easy taxi ride.
Casa Blanca is located in the heart of old San Juan, with many restaurants and places to visit during your stay, a hotel with a very peculiar and beautiful touch, its antique and colonial details stand out, the staff is very friendly. Excellent hotel to visit with your partner or family.
This hotel was fabulous! Stay at this hotel if you want to close to everything in Old San Juan. It was great to be able to stop into the hotel during the day as we explored. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean and comfortable.
