The hotel was beautiful, modern and clean. Our room was a bit small but very modern. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the “fireplace” on the tv. The stuff was friendly. Breakfast was exceptional with great options to choose from. Would definitely visit again!

A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War Two. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.
Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.
Other cultural offerings are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.
Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centres than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.
Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

The city is very clean, and easy to walk around with plenty to see. There were plenty of eating places to eat, from local to many foreign cafés. The two favourites were, "The British Bulldog" and the "Irish" sports bars. The old town is a must-see area.

We weren't expecting the Christmas lights as it was a few weeks after, but they were lovely, and a popular attraction for people who weren't there before Christmas. The old town is spectacular.

Old town is lovely. I enjoyed the Royal Castle.
Old town is lovely. I enjoyed the Royal Castle. Great food and shopping. If you’re an English speaker you might find the train station confusing. I would recommend giving yourself a little extra time to find your train.

In the heart of the Old Town, you can find excellent restaurants and enjoy national cuisine. Getting to your desired destination is easy, as you can travel by bus, metro or tram. This is convenient even in the cold season.
Museums are inexpensive, making them convenient to travel to and visit for the whole family.

For me Warsaw is somewhat both the symbol of the Cold War and WWII. The image of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with its eternal flame, and the Palace of Culture and Science reinforces this image. But this also part of the attraction of Warsaw. In autumn it has a certain gloom about it outdoor, but plenty of nice restaurants and pubs. Warsaw is a bit spread out - and the avenues are big. Still, it is easy to get around. Whereas the Old Town was rebuild after World War 2, it is still a nice place to visit. Plenty of parks and museums. Note all the well-kept cobble stones, walls and foundations, and the well-maintained drain pipes.

Each room is unique with cool furniture. There's a fridge and a water boiler. The shower and bathroom were very nice.
The building itself is beautiful, and it was easy to take the stairs to the second floor for me.
The location is right around the corner from the main shopping strip. I forget the name of the street, but it goes straight into old town.
It's also nearer a train station and a tram station. Area felt safe (like all of Poland did to me).
Also the breakfast was so abundant and delicious.
A beautifully decorated and well appointed, spotlessly clean apartment. Through Google we have a slight difficulty finding the entrance, the owners were lovely and did all they could to get us into the apartment. It was in a great location as it is in close proximity to the Old Town. It also benefited from having parking available, a must as we were travelling across Poland by car.
The apartment is really wonderful and the host is very nice! To be honest we stood at 5 Star and 4 star hotels in Poland this week, and this accomodation was by far the best. Super fast wifi, everything super clean! Flip-flops not the cheap ones from the hotels (the white ones that do not fit). Close to the mall and the airport, nice garden with flowers.
- Spacious historic object in the old town area.
-comfortable rooms which are finished with ok materials (but not those You would expect from a 5 star hotel)
- good food in the restaurant.
- well equipped gym.
- kind staff.
