Best part of this inn is that it is within the center of the town. Just a few walks away from Anda White Beach and Anda Food Park. The toiletries are also complete from toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and disposable slippers. The bed is nice and sturdy. What’s more amazing is the toilet—it’s super CLEAN, FRESH and free from bad odors! The staff (lady) is also so kind, accommodating, friendly, and very chill. She doesn’t ask a lot of questions, doesn’t disturb us inappropriately, and is always approachable!

This is one if the best resort experiences that we've ever had. The staff was professional and friendly, the room was clean and cosy, the beach was amazing and we really liked the restaurant. If you want a quiet, private experience without crowds and noise, Casa Amihan is your best choice! I wish we stayed a few days longer.

To say it was great would be an understatement. It is an absolute gem!
Kim and Sharie love nature and animals, which is refreshing to see. They are absolutely down to earth and some of the nicest people.
You’re in land filled with woods and jungle, right on the cliff of Anda’s perfect waters. They have beautiful friendly dogs and are welcoming with other’s dogs as well.
Everything is authentically built, and well thought. It’s truly a paradise. Other cool travelers from around the world come and go and the common areas is a great place to sit down and have conversations about traveling and other parts of the world.
If you go, you absolutely have to go to their local restaurant in town center - “Hangover Restobar”. It’s a must, in order to get the full experience they offer.
They have a farm in Anda that they supply all their vegetables and fruit to their restaurant with. It’s absolutely delicious and organic. We couldn’t get enough of it and kept ordering more plates.
The beer is in a keg and comes with iced mugs (much appreciated). Not to mention, the restaurant is a similar theme as their land. It feels like you’re in the jungle with the plants, bamboo and natural wood decor. They play great oldies music bringing a classy vibe to it all. It was just perfect.
Do yourself a favor and experience what they have to offer.
Featuring an outdoor pool, J&R Residence features a private beach area along Anda Beach where guests can enjoy water sports activities such as diving and snorkeling. It offers free Wi-Fi access.

If you’re looking for a peaceful get away Anda is the place to go in Bohol/Panglao. Away from the chaos of Alona. Beautiful quiet beaches with amazing coral. Option to swim with giant sea turtles (boat tour).
There is also an all day tour that is interesting and includes an island visit to bat caves and cave pools.
Definitely for those seeking a taste of quite paradise.

Anda is still unspoilt by tourism.
Anda is still unspoilt by tourism. There are no kiosks selling cuddly toys or kiss me quick hats and to be honest, if that is what you expect from a holiday you should head to one of the popular destinations in the Mediterranean. If you want to see real life in the Philippines then Anda is probably one of the last remaining destinations. The signs of change are starting but it's still there now if you are quick.

TLDR: If you have food allergies, your food choices will be severely limited. Beach cleanliness needs work. Other points of interest will have trash laden everywhere as well.
Vegans will have a tough time in this area since access to this type of food is limited. Your main dish would likely be vegetarian pancit bihon/pancit canton.
Vegetarians will fair better.
The beach sand and view of the ocean is very nice, but trash is laden everywhere on the beach and needs more effort by the locals to keep the place clean. The trash mainly comes from the ocean where debris will wash ashore, but there are places where trash is left by local inhabitants. There are also no public restrooms on this beach or public trash cans maintained by the local government. Expect to carry your trash with you, if you are the environmentally conscious-type. You will also find significant ocean life on the beaches, so be very careful not to contaminate the environment with human-made products.
Other points of interest will have trash scattered everywhere, but this is common in the Philippines. However, you will find less here than the average.

If the goal is mainly to relax , Casa Amihan is an excellent choice, with wonderful staff, always willing to accommodate your requests.
It is quite in the middle of nowhere (2hrs drive from the airport) but it is still possible to organize some activities if you don't mind spending some time on commuting (we went swimming with the shark whales in Lila area).
I'll definitely recommend this place!

Anda is a beautiful area but you'll have to drive quite a ways from the airport in Panglao. Don't expect hordes of tourists but also don't expect a lot of facilities or restaurants either. The roads to get into some of the resorts are atrocious.

Amazing location at lovely, quiet beach. We snorkelled and there were many fish to see. Friendly and helpful staff. Access road was easy to find and in good condition. Good rooms by Anda standards. We’d love to stay again.
The owners and staff are all exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. It's a perfect location for taking in all the activities Anda has to offer, or just lazing in the hammock with a beer.
Lovely resort to relax in for a few days, anda is a lovely town to stay in, we rented bikes and drove around to the landmarks ourselves which I would recommend,
