Great local hotel, quieter than some on the main street. Great service, good breakfast, aircon, comfy bed. It was a perfect stay
Bluff Beach is a bit out of the way and very quiet.
Bluff Beach is a bit out of the way and very quiet. It is a surf beach and has a strong rip tide so not recommended for swimming. But it is great for walking and for seeing wildlife and birds. There are a couple of really good restaurants at Bluff, plus a couple of beach bars. The bus runs regularly from Bocas to Bluff and back. There's a schedule but generally the bus comes when it comes and you need patience. There are always a few taxis around which are more expensive but can get you there faster. We enjoyed the tranquility. There are lots of surfers but also a few other independent travelers and families.
