The swimming pools are huge and clean. The territory is green, has a pool bar with alcohol drinks. The sand of beach white and soft. I would come back again and recommend this hotel.

4 to 5 days are enough for salalah, visit only from July to August as other times the day temperature is very hot and humid. The food is inexpensive and freshly cooked. The city is quiet and people are humble. Since its a port you can do shopping with low prices as compared to other GCC locations.

Beautiful place to visit. Visit to be planned strictly after 15th July to ensure rainy season is in full flow. We visited from 13th June to 18th June which was extremely hot, no drop of rain everything was dry, highly humid and we can't find any waterfalls. Not recommended to visit in June, best time to visit should be 15th July to 31st Aug.

The staff is beyond they will make sure that your stay is comfortable to the most, and they are very helpful, the location is amazing having a view of the green mountains is gorgeous.
A shout out for the staff as we arrived when Oman announced that ramdan will extend for one more day and they gave us Suhoor instead of breakfast and this was so considerate from them
We booked the hotel for long weekend trip to Salalah. We were not looking for something luxurious just something to sleep and go to explore the nature.
This is what you will have, something convenient affordable but not luxurious nor romantic. It met the expectations.
This was our favorite stay in Oman. Great space in the apartment, nice fittings, very clean, very comfortable. The staff was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast -- dosas, with coconut chutney (among other things). Couldn't recommend more!
Customer service all through out our stay in salalah at various hotels were exceptional and it was the same at Fanar from reception to the Bellboy. Definitely one of the best places to stay and the private beach is a big advantage
