I like the rooms, how private yet open it was access to outside was great and the pub for dinner amazing.

Whenever I come to NZ for a family visit, I tend to stay at The Surrey as it is in a great location for my needs whilst I am in Auckland. I am given great service, parking is available, the rooms are a good size and it is within walking distance of the many restaurants that are in the area.

Located halfway between Auckland Airport and the city center, Dukes Midway Lodge offers free WiFi access and free parking. Guests can relax by the guitar-shaped swimming pool.
Fabulous location. Well stocked unit with all essentials and very tidy. Good base with zoo/notation/crystal mountain within approx1/2hour drive. Very quiet neighbourhood. Good heating. Value for money compared with other places.
We were close enough to drive to supermarket and Pizza Hut for our two night stay.
Is best suited for a couple we had a toddler and falling on hard floors etc was a challenge.
Good communication on booking.
First time using app etc so took some getting used to.
