Mt Maunganui beach very close. Weather mid 20's for our stay which was suited us even though it was a little humid sometimes. Experienced a slow crawl with traffic to and from Omokoroa and also to Mt Maunganui the same which wasn't so good. This could have been because of the time of year though. Found people very friendly and helpful most of the time.

Some many great restaurants, river and ocean views. Shopping, very easy to get around. Even drove to Mount Maunganui beaches and surrounds which is very close. Loved our stay at Tauranga on the waterfront apartments.

Tauranga was really nice and beautiful.
Tauranga was really nice and beautiful. We went to an Indian restaurant for dinner, and I had the most delicious butter chicken I've ever had. The restaurant's name is Talk of India.
The missing part was Mount Maunganui, where we couldn't find any parking during the day or the evening. We wanted to go to an Ice Cream shop, but there was no parking.

There is a very picturesque waterfront in the Tauranga city centre and work is ongoing to make it even more beautiful. There are several little parks within the city centre and many interesting restaurants, bars and shops.

We came to Tauranga to attend a craft event at the racecourse held over a weekend. Unfortunately our group didn't get a chance to explore Tauranga fully but we may travel a day earlier next year so we can see more of the sights that Tauranga has to offer.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Tauranga
My husband and I lived in Tauranga for 14 years and often return to holiday. We normally stay on the Mount side so it was a lovely change. Trinity Wharf certainly lives up to its positive reviews. Cleanliness is a huge factor for me and the standard was certainly met. The staff we did meet were very polite and professional.
Super welcoming, super family friendly, everybody I saw and met were happy, obviously to begin with on arrival you're welcomed, and it got happier after that, beautiful facilities, super convenient location for EVERYTHING, SUPER VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY, you will be surprised, take a leap, not EVERYTHING that seems cheap IS
We have stayed at this motel before and will stay again.
We like that it is right in Tauranga City and only one block from Baycourt Theatre.
It is two blocks from all the restaurants and bars in downtown Tga.
The motel has onsite parking and the area is unusually quiet
Lovely room, fan was a bonus as it was a very hot weekend. Loved the outside seating area and employees were very friendly and able to assist with all my queries. Definitely staying at Roselands if I'm in Tauranga again.
Location was perfect for tauranga or nipping over the bridge to the mount minutes
Super quiet. Super clean . Will definitly recommend and also stay here again
