The staff were really friendly and helpful and our room had the best bed (comfort and size) that we had ever had in a hotel/motel. It was superb. We loved the Christmas trees and decorations in the lobby and restaurant.

Having stayed in many places of a similar sort, CitySide was a cut above in terms of design, quality and comfort. Actually designed for the business traveller, my room offered easy access to power, it was modern, with a well fitted out room, comfortable bed, clean/new carpet, a shower that worked with decent shower gels etc. I was very impressed. I wish more places were like yours!

Some many great restaurants, river and ocean views. Shopping, very easy to get around. Even drove to Mount Maunganui beaches and surrounds which is very close. Loved our stay at Tauranga on the waterfront apartments.

Tauranga was really nice and beautiful.
Tauranga was really nice and beautiful. We went to an Indian restaurant for dinner, and I had the most delicious butter chicken I've ever had. The restaurant's name is Talk of India.
The missing part was Mount Maunganui, where we couldn't find any parking during the day or the evening. We wanted to go to an Ice Cream shop, but there was no parking.

There is a very picturesque waterfront in the Tauranga city centre and work is ongoing to make it even more beautiful. There are several little parks within the city centre and many interesting restaurants, bars and shops.

We came to Tauranga to attend a craft event at the racecourse held over a weekend. Unfortunately our group didn't get a chance to explore Tauranga fully but we may travel a day earlier next year so we can see more of the sights that Tauranga has to offer.

It's growing quickly and enjoyed the ease of driving to our destinations. Excellent food and service at The Orchard we went to. Unused to so much traffic but I handled it. Stayed at Harbour city motor inn and was excellent for easy walk to cafes and city center.

The view was spectacular, we paid a few extra dollars for a water view and it was worth every penny, for a wonderful peaceful, unobstructed view of the harbour. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that we have ever stayed in, both of us had a fantastic night sleep. There is parking immediately outside the room and as Tauranga on the Waterfront is in close proximity to town we were able to leave the car and walk everywhere. We will definitely be back!
We were a group of 11 spread out into 5 rooms. Staff is very lovely and accomodating and was able to put us in rooms close to each other. Rooms and corridors are very clean. All rooms are well equiped with laundry area and kitchen. Hotel is conveniently located next to the shops so it is easy to just walk to find a place to eat. We enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this place.
All units on ground floor level. Fixtures and fittings were better than most motels. Location is great. Bath was great. Toaster / kettle weren't the cheapest brand (like most motels). Shower had removable shower head which I love.
