Although the bedroom was a little dark, it was exceptionally clean and restocked daily. The bed was REALLY comfy - We loved the garden in front of the room.
The highlight of the hotel were the staff! All of them. The stand outs were Robyn and Debz on reception. How brilliant they were at pointing us in the right direction, giving us information on the area and the history and SO friendly. Debz was amazing!

Paihia is a beautiful little town which is ideally located for trips up to Cape Reinga and Keri Keri or activities such as sea fishing and other water sports It's only a short ferry ride away (both passenger and car) to Russell which is definitely worth a visit. It's super close to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds which is a must do.

The views and the weather. Didn't really know where to eat, was unaware that there was a beautiful cafe at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
The bird life was amazing, and loved popping over to Russell in a boat and visiting one of the islands

It's a lovely little coastal village with a great beach, and eating/drinking facilities. The area has lots of interesting history and places to visit. I went on a two-day bike ride from Kaikohe which was very good. It meant our three-day stay was too short to enjoy all the local and near-by attractions.

customer service went way above and beyond. We arrived four hours early and were able to get the key and pop our bags in. We woke up to a beautiful view of the Bay of Islands. Minutes to walk into Paihia. It was perfect.
A very good choice. The owner is warm and welcoming. The hotel has a swimming pool. If there is a boat trip planned for the next day, this hotel is a great option as it is within walking distance to the beach.
clean, spacious, quiet & cozy room with easy parking. Walking distance to beach & main street. Owner was very helpful and kind. Willing to stay this hotel again when I have chance to stay in Paihia.
The location of the hotel is great, close to the beach and other amentities. Nice to have room to move in a two bedroom and upstairs kitchen and lounge area. Shower pressure was good!
