Comfortable, compact, self-contained accommodation attached to owner's house. The garden is amazing and the patio outside the unit was a great place to sit. Excellent continental breakfast provided.
The detailed instructions about finding the place need to be studied in advance, it's tricky but explained well by the owner.

The facilities are fantastic! Super modern, clean and spacious plus the extras such as courtesy juice and coffee pods + lovely shampoo etc was such a treat. The staff were super helpful and fast with any communications, we would gladly go back.

Very good continental breakfast. Even though the property is on the main road, it is far enough down an accessway that traffic noise is not an issue. Its location was convenient. Absolutely stunning grounds. Friendly host.

Excellent location right in the heart of shopping village and beach.
Orewa is a small coastal town with a big heart. There are loads of little shops and restaurants. The Sunday market was such a lovely surprise. There are also some of the best breakfast cafes.
Can walk and cycle along the Estuary onto the beach.

If you want to go to a place that makes you feel welcome, then it Orewa is that place. If you need to feel safe where there is a sence of community, where people are friendly and happy then its Orewa.It's a go to happy place for me when i need a break or a change, that feeds my body, tucks me in at night and gives me peace and calm. That charges my batteries, resets me and gets me back on the right path until the next time. It's also a spiritual place.

Beautiful seaside town.
Beautiful seaside town. Beach is stunning, excellent for children. Big parks, markets on weekends. Supermarket is close. Plenty of eating options close by from takeaways to fine dining. Shopping mall just up the road at Silverdale. Bush walks and much much more.

Orewa is easy to find and has excellent choice for food - the whole area is well laid out and in a wonderful setting of mature trees, parks, walkways, convenient access to beach and parking. The shops are interesting and locals friendly. Just feels like a peaceful easy place to be.

I know it can get very busy during the peak summer months but late summer seems to be a good time to visit. Busy but not crowded.

The beach was within walking distance and it was a nice...
The beach was within walking distance and it was a nice sandy very clean beach. There was plenty of free parking for people travelling or those living further away.
You have everything you need all in walking distance, so no need for a car if you are staying locally.
There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes.
Most properties had a sea view, and if you are staying in one of the hotels you will see an amazing sunset.

I loved the homely touches once we arrived, I loved how the hosts were outstanding with communication as I was a late nighter check in. I enjoyed the quietness of the location and how well upkept the gardens were. Highly enjoyed staying there. Will definitely do it again next time in auckland.
Great location for relaxing and a long walk on the beach after flying into Auckland. Fantastic ocean views from rooms on sea front. Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Lovely and accommodating staff. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Great all round.
The hotel is clean the apartment is very clean & lovely , modern with everything you need , nice big TV with Netflix etc , it’s lovely views from lovely balcony.
