Very well equipped with everything you need. Only down side was the kids room was just a curtain not walls.
The flying fox was cool definitely for older kids over about 5. Our almost 5 year olds used it but it was a bit high.
We also got to feed the Alpacas which was coolboth owners very friendly.

Basic and old rooms, but very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and we felt welcome in the bar. Better than we expected from some reviews - and you can’t ask for a better price. We slept well and would stay again. Thanks!

We were only there for one night to break our journey through the Mackenzie Basin. We had dinner at the hotel next door the Silverstream Hotel. Was a real country pub with a lovely warm fire and a hearty meal.
The motel has a 1960s retro vibe. The fresh flowers in our unit were a welcome sight. The unit has lots of heating and blanket/doona options. The kitchenette facilities were very adequate so we drove 5 mins to Fairlie and bought supplies from the supermarket to cook breakfast. The Silverstream hotel next door to the motel was our dinner choice and the meals were delicious and generous portions.
I ended up changing my plans and approaching Kimbell from the opposite direction. i was also going to be later, but motel was accommodating about change in arrival time. This was good as I didn't to then have to rush. Strangely I ended up not seeing any staff during my comfortable stay.
We stopped overnight on the way home from queenstown Great all round and havibg the silverstream hotel right next door made for a beautiful night. Definitely recommend and will be back
