The location and the cottage was beautiful. Quiet area in the country, close to Hobbiton Movie Set, and welcoming. Our host was helpful and lovely, she made sure we had everything we needed and walked us through all the ammenities. The cottage was spacious and extremely comfortable. Good selection of basic breadfast food, cereal, toast, butter, jam, coffee and tea. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This place is wonderful. You get your own separate unit and they have everything you need from Tv, towels, microwave, fridge, washer, etc. it was conveniently located, at least for me, between all the attractions I was going to do while in the area which was Hamilton, Rotorua, and waitomo caves. The family is friendly and has two lovely dogs that love to say hello. As the name says, it’s in a rural area so the nearest down is about a 15 minute drive. It was amazing waking up to the sound of birds and not cars for once. Would definitely come back. Thank you again for everything 😊

They have a lovely home and the rental unit is easily separated so you can come and go easily. The bed was comfortable and a nice view over the park. They thought of guests needs and really provided what may be wanted. Nicely laid out for a good stay. The breakfast they provided was perfect and the little kitchenette made it so simple too.
