We had a beautiful room with enormous old style picture windows to the street. The bed was very comfortable - a firm mattress with a plush topper. Kitchen was well equipped. Can't tell you about the staff as we saw no-one, due to a late self check-in. We received all the information we needed to do this.

This accommodation was a slice of heaven for us as we had driven from Invercargill. The room was good and clean. Having a restaurant in house was also wonderful as we didn’t need to go out for dinner.
The location was across the road from the Dunedin Botanical Gardens which is worth a visit.

Bigger than i expected. Lovely place and looks like there is plenty of upgrades happening in the city - both building and roads.
Lots to do and lots of attractions for all. Whether its city shopping or outdoor activities.
I would love to spend more time to explore here.
Roads on the surrounding hills can be very narrow, steep and at times confusing.

So much to do in Dunedin!
So much to do in Dunedin! We were there for 3 days but could have spent longer. Easy to drive around the city. Had a great meal at Anatolia Turkish Kebab House, best baklava I've ever eaten.
St Clair beach worth a visit and Larnach Castle is a must do.

City with flair and many things to do, no matter if rain or shine. Otago Peninsula and Port Chalmers are absolutely great places to discover. Dinner at the Historic Carey's Bay Hotel was the best in four weeks of traveling. Tha Saturday farmers market at the railway station in Dunedin is ghe place to be to have some goodies and enjoy the people.

The motels are places for easy access to a Supermarket and petrol station right across the road, close by for us for the people we were visiting and also for places of interest to visit.
The negative side was the entry in and out of the motels. Very close to a very busy corner, one had to be extra careful entering and exiting it.

Great city!
Great city! Lots of places to explore and lots of food places to choose from. We drove through the Peninsula up to Invercargill which was a scenic drive. We also got to visit Larnach Castle which is the only castle in NZ :)
It’s always very clean and the reason we always book with Scenic is due to the beds. They are so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! The staff are always so helpful and polite and the location is right in town so you don’t need to worry about taxis etc. Whenever we come to Dunedin we always book this hotel.

quiet even with NYE celebrations happening around town.
SMS received first thing next morning to see what we needed done for the room as this was a self check hotel with no staff on site.
