It was very clean and well presented. The breakfast options were varied. The fine dining in the restaurant was excellent. There is an electric car charger right outside which was very handy.

This is a wonderful place to just relax, enjoy the peace and quiet and do some walking in magnificent countryside. The guesthouse has a lot of history, with lovely furniture, fittings and interesting artefacts, with a real sense of homeliness, reinforced with the welcome from Astrid. Any problems or questions she is there for you, and even gave me a lift to Flam when I found I would have a problem getting there in time for my train. The breakfast is very generous and really sets you up for the day; at the end of the day, from a room with a view of the fjord, a comfortable bed awaits. The reindeer stew in the gastro pub just across from the main building is a must try, delicious and filling.

The apartment was spacious, in the heart of Flam. Easy walking distance from the Ferry and Flam Railway. Despite the close proximity to all facilities the apartment was quiet because of great sound proofing and above village life, on the first floor with excellent verandas and great views of the surrounding mountains.
