What an absolutely beautiful spot! The house is large and works well even with all of the rooms filled. The views from all windows and the deck are incredible! And there are so many things to read and enjoy if there had been a rainy day while we were there.

Very nice and clean cottage with a truly astoundingl view. The man at the reception was super nice and helpful!! There is a small Joker 4 minutes walking distance away. You can park a car right outside the cottage which is also really nice.

Eide Gard exceeded all our expectations and even more! I can warmly recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit Skjolden! Both the house and the location are incredibly beautiful. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. There was no breakfast included, but we could freely use the big kitchen and the dining hall downstairs.
A very Nice room with an incredible view of a waterfall. Off the beaten path hostel/hotel/camping. Lovely environment. Wonderful staff and very helpful. Excellent breakfast in a very lovely dining room with antiques. Comfortable beds and private bath in the lodge area. We had access to a shared kitchen and lounge area that was very nice.
I loved the hospitality of Mara, the host of Eide Gard. Who gave me some very good tips for nice spots in the area of Skjolden. Particularly Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark and a very helpful app for hiking routes.
The view and the Skjolden town itself was really amazing! Plenty of space as it was just 2 of us. Easy instructions for check in :) well equipped kitchen with salt, pepper and coffee.
