This is great value, a beautiful spot right on the fjord with a very friendly and helpful owner.
There is a sauna as part of the site and we paid extra, but a very reasonable price for exclusive access right on the fjord.
The site had all necessary cooking facilities too, small amounts in our room but the common areas there was more
Overlooking the Luster Fjord and Feigum Waterfall, this waterfront inn is 30 minutes’ drive from Sogndal. It provides free WiFi and a surrounding garden with outdoor seating and a playground.
Beautiful location and stunning view. Good kitchen facilities and barbecue. Well furnished. Gorgeous garden and green house. Lovely hosts.
Pool could have been a couple of degrees warmer. The showers flooding the shower room was annoying. Not much hot water.
But overall, a lovely stay. We would stay again.

Eide Gard exceeded all our expectations and even more! I can warmly recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit Skjolden! Both the house and the location are incredibly beautiful. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. There was no breakfast included, but we could freely use the big kitchen and the dining hall downstairs.
This hotel is a true treasure - not just because of the amazing location, but mostly because of the great staff. We only stayed one night, but felt so welcome, just as if we were their regular guests. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable & with the most amazing view over fjord.
Great location, near a great scenic drive. Property was quite nice for a campground (we stayed in the hotel building). Breakfast was great. Shared kitchen and living room as well as outdoor seating was a nice surprise in the hotel.
