Location is great. And we swam on fjord first time in our life.

The camping is nice and quiet, there is a playground for kids.
The Hytter was quite big, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the small terrace for dinners.
We had breakfast a the restaurant one morning, it was GREAT, best breakfast we had in Norway and very good value for money. We should have done it every morning !

Location is beautiful, and very well located for fjord activities- having really good swimming baths so close is a bonus. The cabin is very comfortable.
Pluscamp Sandvik is located in Gaupne, just 2 km from Gaupne Old Church. Set in an old orchard, these cottages look out to the mountain and fjord. The UNESCO-listed Urnes Stave Church is 23 km away.
Set in Lom, Sognefjellshytta features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel has family rooms. At the hotel every room includes a private bathroom and bed linen.
The info about the room was misleading; it said mountainviews, seaview etc and the photos showed a view of the fjord, the quite small room and the waterfront deck but in reality the room had a view of the road, some parking lots, houses and mountains in the background 😖 After some discussions with the staff we were able to cancel the booking as the hotel was otherwise fully booked and we couldn’t get the kind of room we had expected. It was a pity as we had looked forward to our stay and the dinner we had booked too.
We arrived quite late in the evening after an adventurous and beautiful drive through Sognefjellet but that was no problem. Check-in was friendly. Room was quite spacious and bathroom as well. Both were clean. The beds were comfy and we got a good nights rest. Breakfast next morning was good and tasteful. Not too many options but more than enough for us.
Check-out was friendly as well. A great place to stay, especially close to Skjolden with beautiful view of Sognefjorden.
We were given å nice welcome and stayed in a very nice room. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean. Eide Gard has an awesome view over the fjord and Skjolden. We recommend Eide Gard.
One of the most beautiful locations I’ve stayed at. Skjolden itself is small, but there are few places to eat and even more to explore at close driving distance.
