Very nice and clean cottage with a truly astoundingl view. The man at the reception was super nice and helpful!! There is a small Joker 4 minutes walking distance away. You can park a car right outside the cottage which is also really nice.

Dinner was exceptional--my compliments to the chef! Best meal of our trip! Breakfast was also delicious, and the renovated barn setting for breakfast was charming. Speciai thanks for the homemade jam for my croissant! All of the common areas were lovely and well appointed. There was no breakfast. We loved the 'glamping' site across the street that is affiliated with the Inn. The setting and cooking facility were elegant and practical. The host provided elegant glassware as well as functional kitchen basics. There was a small shared fridge and a portable oven for guests to use.
The setting at the 'glamping' site is utterly gorgeous. We spend some time sitting alongside the fjord to soak in the ambiance.
I enjoyed interacting with the hosts. Olav was totally responsive on the phone and in person. My interactions with the hosts was culturally enriching and memorable.
Great location as we were visiting one of the glaciers near by on an organised trip. Hotel served food all day and had a great selection of cakes as well. Breakfast was included and had a good choice of options. Staff were very friendly. There is also a small supermarket next door to the hotel which was really handy. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.
The caretaker/owner was very warm and friendly, making this such a nice warm atmosphere with all the guest. The warm breakfast roll was very nice for a cold morning. The breakfast spread plus the kitchen serving warm and nice local food was a comfort coming down from a tough glasiar hike. And plenty of car park at the hotel.
Very nice lady at the reception. A beautiful family hotel in the middle of the village at the beginning of the national park. Very varied breakfast. It was a pleasure to spend a night here during our holiday.
Amazing location close to the river and the Jostedal glacier. We used it as a base for a guided tour of the glacier and kayaking trip. Really enjoyed relaxing by the river in the evening.
