Beds were great. Very comfortable! I also like the rituals bath products in the bathroom. They have body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body/hand lotion (fixed in room - not for you to bring). They had plenty of towels and also an iron/ironing board. They have a restaurant on site with friendly service and nice food. Its easy to get to the airport with the bus - leaves every half an hour from 4.08am and gets you there in about 15 min (stops at another hotel as well to pick up people).

Very nice staff is making every stay a dream. Previously I booked another hotel that I had to cancel due to misinformation. In Scandic everything is simple and everyone is really welcoming. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, breakfasts are nice and simple, dinners are fantastic. With any issue staff is happy to help (I forgot a bowl for my dog, but they fixed it with some trays).

We stayed here on three occasions for overnight layovers during an extended tour of Norway. Location at the airport was ideal (both for flights and rental cars), room was lovely, restaurant was very good. Staff were amazing.

If ever a place showed the difference between the UK and...
If ever a place showed the difference between the UK and Norway, the airport is it. Clean lots of staff, quick through check In and security, great wi fi planes leaving on time, train under the airport electric buses, etcetc. Then there's the UK. I'll stop there.

our flight left before 7am and so we didn't want to risk...
our flight left before 7am and so we didn't want to risk weather and other things trying to get there, so we stayed at the Radisson Red. The cost wasn't much different than staying downtown Oslo, and the hotel was much quieter than staying downtown. If you're going by train and on a budget, I would recommend getting what you want to eat and drink at the grocery at the train station first.

Gardermoen is an airport, with all the problems connected...
Gardermoen is an airport, with all the problems connected with flying and climate change; ie use it as little as possible.
There is a very interesting one hour walk, accessible on foot, along a deep ravine, from the end of the runway, through untouched forest. Can recommend it.
The airport is smart and well laid-out and many (expensive) facilities. Will definitely go there again, but only sparingly

Size is intimidating.
Size is intimidating. It is a very large entry hall if you are not familiar with it and Information doesn't appear readily available. Proximity of inexpensive lodging is a real plus. Additional shuttle cost a minor problem.

Nice and close to airport…..and very clean and quiet room. There is a shuttle service right from the hotel to and from airport, which is super convenient . Walking paths next to the hotel. Amazing breakfast. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay an a bonus for location for a flight out of Oslo the following day. Also staff responded quickly to questions I had about airport shuttle service and were lovely at check in.
This bright and modern hotel is connected to the Oslo airport via a covered walkway ... albeit a 15 minute walk. The checkin was easy, the room was spacious and minimalist and the restaurant attractive (though we didn't eat there). An excellent option for early morning flights. We had never heard of Radisson Red before but were glad we'd discovered it on this occasion.
B&B really to close to the Oslo airport, you can reach it in 15 minutes with bus 42 from platform 48 outside the arrival of the airport.
Perfect the breakfast that starts and 4 am and the possibility to have dinner at the hotel since it is not in a big city center.
Perfect if you arrive late at night and you have a flight the morning after.

Good breakfast, good beds and pillows, bath. Radisson has best shampoos and body lotions. We arrived early and left our luggage to luggage room to hotel at morning before going to town , sightseeing Oslo. Nice staff helped us in desk.
Good coffee capsules variety in room. 2 minutes to walk to airport. Best if you have early morning flight as we had.
Super efficient check-in and check-out process. The airport shuttle drops you and pick you up in front of the hotel door in about 10min. Breakfast is varied and very good. Dark curtains and sound isolation in the room made for a really good sleep.
