The welcome was very heartwarming and kind! The staff even made us a yummie breakfast-to-go when we left! The cabins however, we fell in love with! They were magical, as the location too! Everything was just perfect! One of my best stays ever, even if short!!!

It's fairly remote, the nearest full grocery store is a solid 20 minute drive from the property and that is also the closest store/place to eat. Still, shopping and restaurants is not why people visit Rondane!
Go here for peace, tranquilty, helpful people, nature and experience trails in every direction. The river location is truly lovely, the hotel itself sells homemade bread, offers waffles in both the Norwegian and Belgiun style and the restaurant serves a traditional, fixed menu every evening.
