Kaatsheuvel is but a small town that we visit when we go to The Efteling, one of Europe's largest and oldest theme parks.
It is great to spend the entire day there and then stay in Kaatsheuvel so we can rest our feet and have dinner in one of the many bars and restaurants there.

A wonderful place, nice staff, super modern property and rooms, clean, cozy and comfortable. They have a nice restaurant just downstairs but my favorite spot is the bar with the beautiful terrace! In the Terrace there is a playground and a minigolf for the kids. Perfect to relax with the kids! Also, parking is free :) Great value for money!

We took a 4 day break in Netherlands.
We took a 4 day break in Netherlands. Flew into Eindhoven, rented a car and were able to visit Oertijdmuseum (Dinosuar museum), Beekse Bergen safari, Efteling (theme park) and Kids Wonderland (play centre for kids). Kaatsheuvel is a short drive from Tilburg and Eindhoven and a great base to explore the surrounding areas. If we had more time we would have liked to visit Amsterdam which was an hour and a half drive. It rained heavily on our last day, otherwise we may have got to explore Eindhoven on foot.

Beautiful, homely property, immaculately clean with great facilities. The hosts are charming and generous - we loved meeting them! It is near to Efteling, yet feels so private - you are not overlooked in any direction. There was a Christmas tree & decorations in the living space which was a really lovely detail.
The room was a nice size for just the two of us. The beds were soft and comfortable. It is pretty visible this is the "budget" variety of the hotel, but it's good value for the money you pay. The location is great, a 5min walk from the efteling and the grocery store across the road is open until 10pm.
Friendly hosts, excellent communication and information provided upfront, property where you can feel at home! A stone’s throw away from The Efteling main entrance. Quiet and cosy. A bonus was the playful Floyd (the neighbours’s dog) who greeted us every morning.
The rooms were clean and the setup of both rooms were very nice. Breakfast has very good selection of varieties. The location was brilliant, as we were there to visit Efteling, it is within 10min walking distance to the entrance.
