Very handy location, if you're going along the Caprivi Strip. The accommodation is secure, within private gates, where you can keep your car secure, near the security guard. The gardens are really nice. The grounds exterior are quite nice, and the garden is well looked after. The staff are relatively friendly too. Breakfast was okay too, but could do with more vegan options. The shower had good power, but not a good supply of hot water. The bed was okay, but could do with upgrading.

The Rundu area is not for sensitive people as the local population is very cruel towards animals. Donkeys’ feet are bound so tight that the animals cannot walk at all and many are bleeding. The cruelty towards dogs is unimaginable and we saw dogs being beaten savagely. The area is very dirty with rubbish everywhere. Generally a very unpleasant area that will not see us again.
Stark contrast compared to the rest of Namibia that is clean and beautiful with kind and hospitable people and well kept animals.
