Our stay was perfect. To be completely honest, there were a few (very!) minor things to improve on: some of the staff was obviously new to the job, the wine list was composed of one red and one white wine, some of the facilities were not finished yet (e.g. dive shop). That being said, everyone was super-friendly, helpful, motivated - we had an absolutely great time, my daughter and me. No problem stayed unsolved. The rooms were more than comfortable, the architecture of the place is beautiful, the setting on the beach and near the pool is gorgeous. If somehow possible, we will return, hopefully with all of my three daughters.
Warmest thanks to the management of the hotel and of the group (and to the operations team), who are doing a difficult job in a complicated legal, tax, technical, etc. environment, but who recruited a team of motivated and cheerful young people putting real effort in their work, who are thriving for perfection, and who earned my admiration for the open-minded attitude to improvement and learning. Bravo!
On a side note: we hiked in the jungle, we went for diving, was real fun. All (perfectly!) organised by the resort.

I highly recommend Sri Sentosa Chalet in Kampung Mukut if you want a peaceful vacation away from the city. It's only 20 minutes walk to mejestic Asah waterfalls and 3 hours hiking/trekking to the mountain nearby the village. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, the location of my room is at the beachfront, the room and toilet are wide. I'm very comfortable and will definitely go back to this place👍👍👍😁😁😁

There are western and Malaysian menu options at the resort's only restaurant - a bit limited in option but for two night's stay it works for us.

Stayed at Kampung Juara only. Love the friendliness and the chillax environment in Kampung Juara. The dive sites are amazing. And dive packages by Dyve Marine Centre is reasonable and accommodating. A few restaurants serving Malay, Chinese and International dishes at affordable prices. Can rent motorcycles or bicycles to move around. A light hike to a waterfall sight. A perfect place for serious diving experience and quiet relax vacation, not a flashy tourist spot. Hence do research well if choose Kampung Juara as the transport fee to Marine Park or popular ABC beach is quite pricey. Love the place and definitely will return

Tioman is a beautiful place to explore sea life and some jungle trekking. You can see variety of sea life like Turtle, sharks, squids, sting ways and wide range of different fishes. Water is super clean.

Do your homework, know the place you're staying and which jetty to get off from. Be respectful of the locals and your surroundings, manage your expectation. If you intend to go around (without renting bikes), it will be helpful to have comfortable footwear. Get in touch with the local guides to take you around or better, for a hike to the mountains. Dive, snorkel or even better, take the kayak and explore as much as you can. Take note of the operation hours of the eateries (ask the locals) as mostly open only for specific meal time. Have fun!

We loved this island, the rainforest is amazing with some beautiful waterfalls, cool water to swim and fabulous wildlife.
The beaches are pristine, no rubbish, wide stretches of sand and crystal clear water, great snorkelling with reefs and fishes a plenty.
Food and accommodation is good and reasonably priced .
We walked everywhere and got a taxi to and from the port which was a truck - we stood up in the back and it was great fun. This is one of our favourite islands in the world.

We stayed in Juara beach only. Nice and relaxing but enough options with snorkelling trips, scuba, hiking, swimming, motorcycle hire, kayaking etc so you don’t get bored.
Some restaurants have very slow service and limited menu but there’s enough good ones like Rimba and Sun Cafe which are both really good.

for a food lover, you able to try the different taste and types of food in the island for example malay food and even western, , with the sea breeze and sea view, the spending might be more expensive than the off island maybe due to the tourist place, but the beach and sand are priceless, you can relax on the beach by doing nothing! Great experience
Looking for a quiet place to unwind and live the island dream? Bushman is the place! We stayed 3 nights and had a great time.
- The bungalows are simple yet clean and comfortable.
- The staff is friendly and helped us arrange for a great day snorkeling tour! given that it was a holiday for them too, they came with us and we had a fun day together!
- the restaurant food is good and portions are very generous
- location of the hotel is perfect, right on the beach. You can do everything by foot. we also watched the sunrise in the morning!
The location of Beach House is incredible. you have your own private beach literally on your door step, breakfast included by the hosts who are a lovely family, the price is very affordable, bedding is comfortable, air con included and small restaurants nearby. The host is also able to take you out on his boat for snorkelling at extra costs which was the best snorkelling we have ever done. Beach House and Tioman Island as a whole is peaceful, beautiful and tropical and we would love to come back.
We love the location and the setting. It’s more like a home stay and we the visitors are invited to share the living space. It’s the opposite of a tourist hotel. The owners were very responsive to our needs and queries. The place is quiet and the sea facing rooms are definitely worth the extra dollar!
