The Boathouse Pulau Tioman, hotel in Tioman Island

Facing the beachfront, The Boathouse Pulau Tioman offers 4-star accommodation in Tioman Island and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area.

It is new and clean. As it was close to monsoon season, very few guests. The staff did try to show how to play some local games.. secluded due to the nature of Tioman island. Only 1 restaurant but the chef did try to accede to individual meal request that is not on the menu.

Japamala Resort by Samadhi Age 12 and Above Only, hotel in Tioman Island

Located on the beautiful Tioman Island, Japamala Resort by Samadhi- Adults Only is set amidst a tropical rainforest.

A small, charming hotel on the coast with cozy little villas. Breakfast is excellent, with a menu to choose from, and lunch and dinner can also be ordered à la carte — no buffet lines, which is a nice touch. The hotel operates even during the off-season, which is a big plus! You can book excursions or arrange services outside the hotel. Staff meet you by boat from the ferry, adding a touch of convenience. Keep in mind, though, that life on the island really starts to pick up only after the monsoon season ends, around March 25.

It is awesome trip for my family.

It is awesome trip for my family. The Island hopping trip with beautiful corals and lucky sighting of sea turtles swimming by, was the best. Short trek to the water fall on route to Juara beach was great experience. Marine park was a smaller than expected but good. Tekek was good place to stay as it has everything needed - Food, groceries, duty free (surprisingly small) and souvenirs.

Beautiful Private beach. best on that coastline in my opinion. you will require boats to get around, but a short 2 min boat ride to the next beach over and you can hire scooters. the staff were amazing and the chef was so kind. would always cook very tasty food. the place is very quiet and isolated.

    Stayed at Kampung Juara only.

Stayed at Kampung Juara only. Love the friendliness and the chillax environment in Kampung Juara. The dive sites are amazing. And dive packages by Dyve Marine Centre is reasonable and accommodating. A few restaurants serving Malay, Chinese and International dishes at affordable prices. Can rent motorcycles or bicycles to move around. A light hike to a waterfall sight. A perfect place for serious diving experience and quiet relax vacation, not a flashy tourist spot. Hence do research well if choose Kampung Juara as the transport fee to Marine Park or popular ABC beach is quite pricey. Love the place and definitely will return

Do your homework, know the place you're staying and which jetty to get off from. Be respectful of the locals and your surroundings, manage your expectation. If you intend to go around (without renting bikes), it will be helpful to have comfortable footwear. Get in touch with the local guides to take you around or better, for a hike to the mountains. Dive, snorkel or even better, take the kayak and explore as much as you can. Take note of the operation hours of the eateries (ask the locals) as mostly open only for specific meal time. Have fun!

We loved this island, the rainforest is amazing with some beautiful waterfalls, cool water to swim and fabulous wildlife. The beaches are pristine, no rubbish, wide stretches of sand and crystal clear water, great snorkelling with reefs and fishes a plenty. Food and accommodation is good and reasonably priced . We walked everywhere and got a taxi to and from the port which was a truck - we stood up in the back and it was great fun. This is one of our favourite islands in the world.

The owners are very kind and helpful, they organized everything for us from the snorkeling trip to the taxis and so on. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach which has everything needed. If you are lucky you will be able to spot some nice creatures in the sea in front of the hotel (sting rays, fishes, etc). Even if there is no AC in the standard room, it was cool during the night so the fan was more than sufficient.

The hotel has it's own private beach which is really lovely, so much better than staying in one of the main villages. The staff are mostly very friendly and like to have a chat with you. The house reef was better than expected, we saw a reef shark, a turtle, tons of fish, 2 rays etc. There are large patches of dead coral though.

Such a peaceful place to enjoy a break away from the crowd. It’s the last hotel of Juara and most charming one. The staff was so kind and always eager to help. Food is great, juices are a bliss! Rooms also and very cleaned! Maintenance staff working everyday to keep the garden nice and charming.
