Very friendly staff. We are vegetarian and require special dietary needs. We did have a Chef at Lankavi Kitchen who was always obliged. Chef Shaun at Horizon restaurant was amazing; we tasted some great vegetarian food, which he happily prepared for us. The housekeeping staff, Ashok and Ramesh, were terrific and took good care of us. I do not remember many names which I wanted to put there, but overall amazing experience.

Lovely property with a very large area, providing an experience of living in Malay chalets amidst a rainforest or just on the edge of the sea. Plenty of space to walk about in serene surroundings. The pool was great too, specially for the kids!

Staff is remarkably friendly and very, very accommodating. Everything is clean and well kept. Breakfasts were great. The resort consists of individual cottages with balconies built into the mangroves. There is a saltwater pond with a bridge to a small island populated by many fish and crabs, which is refreshed by the tides. Despite feeling remote, it is close to the airport, the skybridge, many restaurants, and a night market.

The Villas are short walk out of main town. The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was small but enough to get you going. Staff were marvellous going above and beyond to help you out. Parking was available for our scooter.

Malaysia itself is built on tourism use, I didnt like the fact that you have to pay to use bathrooms specially in touristic areas where you will spend already inside as there is food, shops and activities, and also you have to pay for a bathroom and extra for tissue. which made it a struggle if you walk with no money. most of the adventures are not priced you are given a different price and every tourist is given a different price, and the staff claim they dont know if you ask any question that would make them not profit. overall its a very beautiful city, but it is not a place I would go to again.

Loved being in the rain forest, lovely beach and had such a relaxing time and people are so friendly and helpful. Recommend trips such as Mangrove boat trip. Relatively cheap to eat out as were drinks.

Excellent location. Short walk to sky bridge. Private beach. Three restaurant choices. Friendly monkeys. Good food. Relativelyclean sandy beach. Friendly accommodating staff. Trolleys are always available.
You can hear your neughbors at times. Not sure if sea water had jelly fish or not please inform us better each day. Some busy food kiosks like egg bkfst or peak times. Swimming pool is ok but a bit small.

We had an amazing time, and we will be going back for another weeklong stay next summer. The staff were very accommodating - Mr. Jamal was very hands on to address any requests in relation to the hotel stay, Mr. Fikri offered our daughter a lovely experience with the aquatic fauna in addition to preparing the most delicious cocktails for us, the entire team in the restaurant was very attentive to our requests and went above and beyond to assist.

5-6 days would be a nice relaxing holiday.
5-6 days would be a nice relaxing holiday. You get to visit different places each day and go back to the hotel, relaxing in the pool with bar service. One of the highlights is Mangrove tour, you get to go round the Mangrove and out to other islands with clear water, watch the eagles and snorkeling. Skycab is a must, went up to the top, can see beautiful islands and the whole Langkawi.

Love how secluded the hotel is and you won’t get big crowds here as compare to Cenang. The private beach is very clean and water is clear. Worth planning for a night stay here if you’re going to Skycab as the hotel is just beside it. Bare in mind that the hotel is quite far away from other tourist sites (that’s what that makes it less crowded), if you’re tight on budget, do prepare some food or if you’re good, order it from the restaurant is a great option too. Shutter is always available too during our stay.
I loved my stay there. The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly from the beginning to the end of our stay they made sure we were feeling good. The swimming pool is very big and very well located just in front of the beach. The beach was also very nice, much quieter than in other locations I have been. I really enjoyed my stay in the Dana though a bit expensive it was very well worth it.
The surrounding nature and the beach were very beautiful.
