The breakfast was adequate and location great

The price was great! All meals and boat tours were included. JD was an astute wildlife spotter and gave great boat tours. These were definitely the highlight of our stay.

Although most of the rooms are older & on the rustic side, the place is a good value for seeing wildlife with their excellent guide (especially if you can get in their boat.) Meals are healthy & drinkable water is technically available (their filtering machine was broken so they handed out bottled water). We bought their 2 night/4 cruise package; best to ask exactly which of the 3 cruises it includes if you choose this—we missed the night cruise as it wasn’t mentioned to us.

We loved our 2 nights and 3 days stay at Bilit Adventure Lodge. We had a great time and total disconnect from rest of the world like no social medias, no internet, no tvs…however it’s possible you can purchase 1G at lodge but we didn’t by purpose since we had such a jungle, remote and nature experience. So sad coming back to civilization after 3 days…Anyways, we would love to shout out to our guide ROBERT who did our trip to Kinabatangan so special and memorable. He was so professional, knowledgeable of wild life, life encoglephia, birds, spotting and caring person that we already so much respect to him and appreciate more than a lot. Thank you so much Robert for your kindness and caring for us those days since we met at airport and drop off airport. Now little bit our experience at lodge, we had 1st day boat trip through river, got spotted many birds, crocodiles, monitors and etc…then night jungle walking is great experience also. Next morning boat trip was so emotional that we’ve seen Sunrise, many more wild life’s including proboscis monkeys ets…then next evening boat trip…just wonderful. What a day…we spotted 7 elephants along with many birds species and crocodile etc. How thankful for this trip…just amazing…even just around walking lodge already we have a lots of monkeys, birds and giants butterflies…and at last we would like to say Thank you to all the stuffs at Bilit Lodge and specially for our guide Robert!!!

Everything was great. Very clear communication about pick up and they were right on time. The room was very comfortable and seemed very new. No bugs got inside and being up on top of a hill gave great views and there weren’t many mosquitos at all. Food was excellent and plentiful. Our guide Ryan was incredible and we saw all of the Borneo Five animals including young orangutans building their nests at the base of the property. Jason the host went about and beyond to explain everything and accommodate us. I left my medication there and he figured out how to get it sent to my hotel on Mabul Island (5-6 hours away by bus and boat) while keeping it refrigerated. Incredible service!! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Highlight of my trip.

We loved the staff! They are very kind, helpful and extremely friendly. We were curious about their culture and they were willing to explain everything about it! We went several times on the cruise to be able to see as much wildlife as possible, and every time was as exciting as the first one!! We also had the pleasure to experience batik painting, which was a bit challenging but unique. Moreover, we enjoyed exploring gomantong cave! We ate at the lodge for our entire stay and we were very pleased with the menu and the fresh cooked, healthy food they offered us. Our stay was amazing and you need to try it!
