We stayed a night here after returning from visiting family in the States. Close to airport and has a nice swimming pool and beautiful well kept grounds right on the Marina and a walled in parking lot for those with car. It's a quiet location. We didn't use it but they say they have free shuttle service to the beach. They also provide towels for
their swimming pool.
All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

Location is excellent, only two blocks from the beach in the middle of the romantic zone. The room was clean, the WiFi was fast, and they had a big Roku TV with free Netflix, and live television channels. They also have seating area with lots of shade and a common kitchen.

Although I generally prefer the quieter smaller areas of Mexico to spend my vacation time, I find staying in PV can be a nice transition time before and after my stay in a smaller community. PV has a lively cultural energy and great local shopping areas. I felt safe driving in PV and was very grateful to find paid parking lots when the street parking was full. Thank you PV for another lovely albeit short stay.

Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful city in the state of Jalisco, Mexico.
It is filled with beaches, hotels, and restaurants. You'll find a wide range of activities to do and places to visit. People are very friendly; many can speak both English and Spanish. It is a popular tourist destination.
The climate is very amendable. Perfect for a cerveza over dinner or sitting at a bar chatting with friends.
You can find shops and markets that sell all sorts of merchandise. There are a variety of plazas with high end brands or local artisans / merchants, plenty of restaurants in various sizes. It's a great place for mariscos. I would highly suggest visiting taquieria los mapaches too!
Getting around is fairly easy by foot, bike, or motorcycle. Although driving through town in a car can be challenging due to traffic.
This is a place that i would happily visit time and time again. It won't be my last time.

The restaurants are excellent.
The restaurants are excellent. The Wednesday night Art Walk is a favorite…PV has an incredible art scene.
We go every year at Thanksgiving…it is before the busy season so it is less crowded and easier to get retaurant reservations. And the airport is less of a nightmare!

We thoroughly enjoyed the location, the pleasant November weather, and the variety of activities available. The locals were incredibly patient and cheerful, making our attempts at speaking Spanish a delightful experience. However, we found the tour and activity vendors a bit overly persistent, particularly from the airport to the main areas of town. My husband and I loved eating at Pellizcadas. We saw many locals going there which is a bonus. We also enjoyed hop on and hop off bus tour and the Marigalante Pirate ship. I would recommend the Pirate ship for everyone even if it is mainly for families, but fun shows, exceptional food and incredible experience at the the Majahuitas beach.

We loved to walk everywhere Seeing all these little Stores, have real Tacos , real Mexican Food. The Zona Romantica is a great Place to wander around, and see something new and different. Go to Abuelos on the Beach , they have the best Margaritas!!
Didn’t like all these Vendors, coming sometimes three times at you and wanted to sell you something on the Beach.
Eulo’s Bakery on Basilio Badillo was awesome.
And the Restaurant Sal de Mer on the Corner of Basilio Badillo and Aguacate has great sea food . Worth a visit

Puerto Vallarta is a very touristic small town that still has the authentic vibe of Mexico. Despite the crowds of American tourists (mostly confined in their all-inclusive resorts) you will appreciate a vast local tourism, lots of Mexican families strolling en el Malecon at night. PV has a vibrant art district en el centro (look for the Art Walk map) that comes to life on Wednesdays night. On Sundays most stores are closed or close soon. You can easily walk up and down the center and visit the market on Saturdays on the Rio Cuale isle. If you are looking for more authentic and rustic vibe take the public transport from calle Basilio Badillo and Constitucion and get to Boca de Tomatlan (45' ride). Boca (see pictures) is a fisherman's village, a little gem with real coffee shops and handcraft stores. From the bay you can take water taxis or lancha pasajera (public transport boat) to all the best beaches. When going to Yelapa, bring enough cash to buy the most beautiful handcrafts from the friendly old ladies exhibiting their pieces along the road to the waterfall (la cascada). Oh, and don't miss the Embarcadero Restaurant in Boca. You will die for their plates based on freshly fished seafood and their blended margaritas!

down town Puerto Vallarta where all attractions are. The hotel is by Rio Cuale so the rooms by the river are specially charming.
Hotel’s gym fully equiped. Rooms are clean and very new, nicely furnished and with AC.
And the personal is very helpful. I forgot my mobile in my room and Alexis helped me to get it back at the airport. Many Thanks.

We managed to get a studio this time and it was great to have a fridge and outdoor space of our own. On previous visits the studios have already been taken by long stay Canadians.
The beds are extremely comfortable and the housekeeping is meticulous.
It’s small by Hotel Zone standards but has a pool with loungers and shady tables.
The public airport bus stops across the road, same stop for buses to Centro Puerto Vallarta.
This place is close to the airport. I personally walked from airport to the hotel. It is an ok place to stay for a night or two. But if you're travelling for a special occasion or holidays maybe you can find better options. It is not really close to attractions in the city. You'll need to catch a bus or Uber. The place is clean. staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good.
The staff were very friendly and diligent. The hotel is very well run. The roof top terrace with great views of Puerto Vallarta is a very nice place to spend time and meet other guests.
