It's so nice in Puerto Vallarta. From the beautiful mountain vistas to the ocean views, from the fantastic Mexican people to the delicious and exotic food, this is an ideal location to have a great time. The weather when we went (late January) was about as close to ideal as I could imagine. It was warm, but not humid. Bring enough money (in pesos, I recommend). It's not exactly cheap there, but you do get value for money at least in terms of eating at restaurants.

We stayed in the Romantic area and our hotel had access to the beach. We found a little cafe Dee’s great coffee, breakfast and all homemade baking. The streets are cobbled and there are a steps to deal with and tripping hazards.
Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants within easy walking distance on the flat and free entertainment at night along the Malecon.

If you’re homophobic—first of all, boooo, but second of all, this isn’t the place for you. This is a safe space so please don’t come and ruin it. PV is a gay-friendly, gay-loving city which we loved. It is also a big expat town so many Americans/Canadians have moved there as well. So if you’re Spanish isn’t the best, there will be someone who speaks English (and if you don’t speak either, good luck haha). As a group of 5 Black women (bachelorette trip), we had a blast and felt very safe the whole time. We had beautiful dinners, local breakfast, fun bar/club nights, private yoga class, and an amazing private chef one night. There’s plenty of stuff to do and many things we missed out on since our trip was only for the weekend.

Puerto Vallarta was such a great place to visit. I can't wait to go back with my family. The downtown area was incredible with the boardwalk and the piers and sunsets. Everyone was very friendly and cordial. The restaurants were all amazing, too!

Sara was exceptionally kind and welcoming upon arrival. We had a very good stay. We booked the hotel because he was in close proximity to the airport. I suggest going to the following place for breakfast and ordering a coffee with milk (it’s right according the hotel). It’s kind of their specialty: Veracruz Flavor Puerto Vallarta.
Super nice place, quiet next to small river. Very good location close to bars and restaurants. City beach is also nearby only 15 min walks. The hotel is stylish pools are beautiful;) Staff is helpful and kind. Especially Arturo! I definitely recomend it. If i visit Puerto Vallarta again I will choose this hotel again!
The staff are super friendly and attentive. The location on the beach and in town was perfect - very easy to get a taxi and explore. The hotel was recently renovated, clean and well maintained. The rooms are well equipped; especially if you get one with a patio and seaview.
