The room was as advertised, the location was quiet and close to a few restaurants open later in the evening. I was able to enjoy the pool, I wish I was able to stay longer.

I’d like the restaurant, the pool and my mattress and the linens and the bed pillows were of impeccable quality probably the nicest I’ve ever experienced at a hotel

Although Bucerias is growing quickly and people are buying up property, it is still considered a nice, quiet Mexican town that you can enjoy and relax in. There are many activities to do or you can do as little as you wish. Something for everyone.

Bucerias is a little town that is easy to get around by foot. It’s not crowded or noisy, but has lots of restaurants and lots to do if you want to do it. Unfortunately condos are creeping in and I don’t know how long it can stay the way it is now. The people are friendly, both the natives and the many Canadians who have moved there. We didn’t eat anywhere that wasn’t good. Ask around or just try places. Wear sturdy shoes for the cobblestone streets. The curbs are deep so you get a workout just walking. I don’t think I would ever stay in PV again. I love Bucerias and that area.

Nereidas Lofts is a nice, clean, modern property.
Nereidas Lofts is a nice, clean, modern property. One block to the beach and the access is on the same street. The restaurant on the ground floor is really good for breakfast and lunch but closes at 2 pm. Across the street to the south is Jorges restaurant. Very good basic Mexican dishes with awesome smoothies. More of a working persons' place with great service and a very friendly atmosphere.

The beach is beautiful and clean. Easy to walk to the beach. Cute shops in the market. Nice restaurants on the beach. Lots of older American and Canadian tourists. We always ate a a street side seafood restaurant with ice cream next door. Easy to buy snacks at Oxxo.

I LOVE being in Bucerias - this was my third trip staying there. The only negative is that there are also a lot of other people who love Bucerias - there is a massive amount of condo building going on. Hopefully, it will not take over and ruin the local businesses that really add to the flavor of the city. I am very comfortable there. It is large enough to have all the amenities that I want but small enough to be able to walk around and not feel crowded-in like being in a larger city. At no time did I feel unsafe - of course I wasn't walking around at 2 in the morning, either, and stuck with areas with which I was already pretty familiar. The restaurants there are amazing - El Brujo, Sandrina's, La Comalita, Cafe las Flores, Le Postal, Le Bistrot, Mr. Santana's - and the list goes on and on. I have a list of at least another half dozen that I want to try. I didn't have a single bad meal or dining experience the whole time there.

Beach and the place we stayed in were great but town busy with tourists. Restaurants good but very crowded in January. Have to make reservations in the most popular ones. Karens place on the beach is good for a sunset experience.
Great location, close to the beach and numerous restaurants, coffee shops and corner stores. Nice pool. Very quiet at night. They have umbrellas and beach chairs that you can bring to the beach. A very beautiful friendly dog lives on the property. Friendly staff. Kitchen with all you need to prepare food. Little balcony with clothesline. We found many good spots to eat very reasonably priced tacos. I recommend the Bici Bucerias Cafe & Bar (right around the corner) Bicycles and food tour with Pepe.
Cafe Bucerias is right at the end of the block for a quick breakfast. The condos are an easy walk to the the malecon, market and beach. There is a taxi stand just one block away making it very easy to get around. The place is clean, safe, and well-cared for. The owners are friendly and helpful.
Super great staff...everything we needed, 1 block from the beach, restaurants and coffee, quiet, secure and safe. The host/owner was also an uber driver and drove us to our next hotel a town over... Spent 2 nights here, love Bucerias, great place to stay at Casa Maqua
The staff is the only thing that can be rescued from this place, they really do a lot with the little that the administration of this hotel grants them
