Nature did a very good job here . House reef extremely good . After visiting almost 20 islands in five different atolls in maldives, and considering the problems of coral bleaching everywhere, I think that this island is still a gem . You’ll find places with nice and healthy coral, huge quantity of fishes of many different species and sizes , turtles .. you can snorkel around all the island . Maldives 30 years back .. beatiful! The island itself is also very nice , very green with two nice big beaches , with the plus that there are no ugly sandbags to protect them ( unfortunately quite common to spot that in most of the other islands ) .

This was by far one of the best vacations I've ever had! This was our second trip to Maldives and first time at Taj Coral Reef Resort! I've been recommending this place to everyone since I've left this island! From our arrival till our departure, all 4 days were beyond amazing!
Biggest highlight of this place is the snorkeling which we did 2-3 hours everyday while there! So many beautiful and colorful fishes were seen everyday!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner experience was wonderful especially given it was made to order food and not buffet! The pizza at the bar was superb!
Small island overall but highly recommended for 3-4 nights and all staff on the island make you feel very welcome for being their guest.
Ifaa at reception greeted us wonderfully and regularly checked up on us all through our stay! Restaurant and bar staff were wonderful especially Madu and Imali. When leaving the island you'll wish you stayed one extra day!
Thank you Taj and Team for this beautiful experience! Truly Taj hospitality at its best!

From Saudi, i will tell you Book and do not hesitate!
I couldn't wrap my head around how is this place
making money ? With an exceptional client service and an all-inclusive stay at a great price
This is a place the you will never be told "No we don't have " ..literally the staff will do way above their ability to ensure your satisfaction..
One example: while having breakfast, one of the chefs approach me and my wife asking that they want to know what we wish to see offered as lunch , my wife asked for Alfredo pasta with shrimps and I asked for pepperoni pizza with spicy honey ! When it came to lunch , the same chef visited our table and offered what we asked for and it was as we exactly loved it to be ! ..
The facilities and packages are great , food is amazing and the rooms are really beautiful.
I will consider revisting the place but next time with my children as the staff helped us to arrange for a visit to see the beach villas , which are very spacious to accommodate 6 persons comfortably.
This is my third visit to Maldives, and I already planning the fourth to be here ! There is no doubt about that.

1) friendly and understanding staff; not only did they acknowledge some of their mistakes, they compensated for them.
2) the resort is very small, thus very quiet. If you’re looking for quietness. Not a lot going on.
3) the Villa itself was gorgeous with 2 pools which was an added bonus!
4) the underwater spa is a unique experience!
I very nice large hotel.
Service was very good
Good quality of food
Limited restaurant spaces. Most at the same area.
Limited open roof tables and those very hot and with no ambiance
Main bar as well.

The snorkelling here is excellent, just walk off the beach and you can see a host of fish including sharks. The general staff here is also excellent. Anything you ask for the staff will try and get for you. Anis and Imam in the restaurant were always excellent and friendly.
The rooms are a bit worn and need someone in charge of checking the rooms and taking care of regular maintenance. It seems that nobody ever checks or cleans the the lounging chairs on the beach. Food in the restaurant gets boring after one week, not a lot of options - one fish, one meat a few vegetarian options. The curries are very good. If you don't get to the restaurant in the first 40 min that it opens for a meal chances are most of the salads will be gone and replaced with bowls of some type of coleslaw.
The almost daily smell of motor oil on the beach near the spa was off putting.

We stayed in a Beach Villa King room for 7 days.
We stayed in a Beach Villa King room for 7 days. It was our second visit and we would come here every year if we could. It is the epitome of luxury beach living in the Maldives and is favoured by billionaires and ordinary people like us alike.
The food and service are exemplary and the staff know you by name and look after your every need. The manager Jan Tibaldi is interested in every guest.
We would recommend staying on the east side of the Island in November since the west side seems to face the prevailing winds. We asked for and got the same room that we had the first time we visited but this of course is not guaranteed.
It is a good place for families but catered equally well for couples. The amount of space that you have is amazing, there is about 800m of beach shared between 10 villas so it's unusual to see anyone else.
Reef life under our water villa was amazing and snorkels are highly recommended to explore them.
It would be helpful for the hotel to more clearly point out places where the half board allowance does not apply at all (for example the Fanditha buffet night and the food market night). However the central restaurant core had so much variety that eating a different menu there every night for 10 nights would not exhaust the selection.
We are looking forward to our next visit.
