The location cannot be beat, a tiny island, only 3 hectares total, surrounded by a beautiful reef. The food is plentiful and tasty and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are air conditioned and the fan keeps out any potential flying insects. The bathroom is modern although the water pressure is low (understandable being on a self contained island).
Beautiful birdlife and in particular marine life abounds, and we were lucky enough to find the resident turtle while snorkelling on the local reef.
Lots of optional activities to choose from. We went on the snorkelling safari and that was amazing, and highly recommended for inexperienced snorkellers to learn how and where to snorkel on a reef.
Situated in North Male Atoll, VARU by Atmosphere - Premium All Inclusive with Free Transfers offers beachfront accommodation and provides various facilities, such as a restaurant, a bar and a garden.

Love the pool, big round jacuzzi and the spacious big villa. Direct access to the beach make it easier to straight away go for snorkelling. Beach are very clean and private. Enjoyed my solitude there.

Although it was our first time in Maldives and in this lind of resortc so I cannot compare to others in the area; I fully recommend Oaga Resort.
Resort personnel were really welcoming, always available and trying to fulfill all our requests.
There are many activities included in the All Inclusive and the food in the restaurant was really good as well, with different options.
The floating breakfast was nice and all the activities booked were right on time.
Bungalows by the sea-side and private pool are huge and with all the comodities. We really loved the shower with no ceiling, like if you were in the middle of the nature!
Great experience overall, we enjoyed it a lot!!

The snorkelling here is excellent, just walk off the beach and you can see a host of fish including sharks. The general staff here is also excellent. Anything you ask for the staff will try and get for you. Anis and Imam in the restaurant were always excellent and friendly.
The rooms are a bit worn and need someone in charge of checking the rooms and taking care of regular maintenance. It seems that nobody ever checks or cleans the the lounging chairs on the beach. Food in the restaurant gets boring after one week, not a lot of options - one fish, one meat a few vegetarian options. The curries are very good. If you don't get to the restaurant in the first 40 min that it opens for a meal chances are most of the salads will be gone and replaced with bowls of some type of coleslaw.
The almost daily smell of motor oil on the beach near the spa was off putting.

We stayed in a Beach Villa King room for 7 days.
We stayed in a Beach Villa King room for 7 days. It was our second visit and we would come here every year if we could. It is the epitome of luxury beach living in the Maldives and is favoured by billionaires and ordinary people like us alike.
The food and service are exemplary and the staff know you by name and look after your every need. The manager Jan Tibaldi is interested in every guest.
We would recommend staying on the east side of the Island in November since the west side seems to face the prevailing winds. We asked for and got the same room that we had the first time we visited but this of course is not guaranteed.
It is a good place for families but catered equally well for couples. The amount of space that you have is amazing, there is about 800m of beach shared between 10 villas so it's unusual to see anyone else.
Reef life under our water villa was amazing and snorkels are highly recommended to explore them.
It would be helpful for the hotel to more clearly point out places where the half board allowance does not apply at all (for example the Fanditha buffet night and the food market night). However the central restaurant core had so much variety that eating a different menu there every night for 10 nights would not exhaust the selection.
We are looking forward to our next visit.
