The hosts, Mark and Sarah, were excellent, always there to help when needed. The location and facilities of the property were also excellent.

Hotel staff are very kind and friendly. We were able to check-in early, and got a lucky upgrade to a larger room, which was always kept tidy and clean. The breafast included was generous and tasty (which includes a hot drink + a warm plate option + fruit/yogurt options). We also had 20% off of prices at the restaurant attached to the guesthouse as well, we ate there several times and it was solid quality. As we traveled during the off-season, the restaurant always had locals which was lovely! Finally the location was amazing, from the entrance we can see the entrance of the Mdina gate (benefits of staying close was walking around at night!) and it was just few minutes away from Rabat, we even walked to Dingli Cliffs :)

The instructions for check in were fantastic. Extremely detailed especially as I was checking in late at night.
The room was huge and plenty of space for bags etc. There was also a fridge which is always a bonus.
Location was perfect for what I needed. In a quiet location and close to all historic sites and a 10 minute walk to the bus terminus which has really good links all over Malta.
I would definitely reconsider this for my next stay in Malta.

Rabat is less overwhelmed with hordes of tourists than Valletta and Mdina - although the latter is only a few minutes' walk away. Plenty if excellent places to eat. Quiet and peaceful. Everything is within easy walking distance.

Rabat has managed to be protected from the erratic skyscrapers building which has affected some parts of Malta. Luckily, heritage buildings are being restored little by little and we can't wait to go back in a few years when it is all finished. At the moment, it has kept the authentic feel to it of a place where locals live and not one invaded by too many tourists.

This is such a nice area with pretty views and beautiful buildings. It is a quiet city but still close to shops, restaurants and the cliffs. The people were very friendly and we felt safe walking around at night. The streets are clean and prices for food are very reasonable. Not very crowded and food is delicious! Its easy to walk or take a bus, although the buses tend to run late, so plan extra time.

Great town, two days enough although there is a good bus service. The history of the city is very interesting, although same said for the history of Malta as a whole. 5 days in Malta to sightsee, more if you want a beach holiday. Quite expensive.

We stayed 2 nights in Rabat leading up to St. Joseph's Feast March 19th. The city was beautifully decorated, each day more items added. We did a walking tour of Mdina and then walked through at night, best time. Rabat makes a great base to explore this part of Malta. We bussed or taxied to Mosta, Dingli Cliffs, Aviation Museum, and even to St. Pauls for the afternoon. Highly recommend.

Rabat is a lovely town close to Mdina.
Rabat is a lovely town close to Mdina. The festa at the end of June was a great experience, seeing Maltese come together as a community was quite charming. Some really good restaurants off the main streets, well worth exploring

Great location with lovely views, even if you don’t stay in one of the rooms with a view you can still walk around to the other side and enjoy the views from the terrace with several of the best restaurants in Rabat/Mdina
The staff are super helpful and friendly. And very honest. I left my handbag in the bar area with my passport and cash late at night. They kept it safe till the next morning.
Excellent breakfast with a variety of options
Excellent value for a great apartment placed well between Mdina and Rabat. Equipped with a little kitchenette and private bathroom that were perfect for the price. The little balcony overlooks a small road and park in the direction of Mdina which was very nice (and not loud!).
Finally it’s next to the Crystal Palace pastry shop which is a must visit!
Great hotel from which to enjoy Rabat and Mdina and from what we briefly saw of other towns/villages on Malta these are not to be missed if you want to see more of Malta as it used to be. Lovely rooms, staff, breakfast.
The accommodation was in Rabat close to restaurants and an easy walk to Mdina. Two bedrooms which meant me and my sister didn't need to share a room. Reasonable value for money.
