Good price and good location.
The room was very nice and we had a nice terrace.
The private swimming pool with jacuzzi was amazing and, most important, Michelle, the host, is absolutely lovely
Would totally recommend!

From the begining the person taking care of the place communicated well with us. On the page it says that check in is at 3pm but we arrived earlier and he let us go inside before. With 2 small children helped us settle more easily. The 0lace was small but comfortable for us. Very clean. There was also an AC in the main bedroom and 2 fans. The kitchen was equipped with basic utensils and plates, pots and pans. There was also a washing machine. For breakfast and dinner we enjoyed staying outside in the terrace for some fresh air. You have free WiFi and the internet for TV. It was a good stay.beven my little ones loved it.

We loved the world class Hammam and Spa with sauna, steamroom, pool and services. The outdoor pools were nice, the property beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious, the English high tea service and food at the restaurants very good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice but the room itself was drab, dark and needed updating to give it life.
Overlooking Marsalforn Bay, the Calypso features a rooftop swimming pool with sun deck and cocktail bar. The hotel lies on Gozo, 6.2 mi from the Ferry Terminal with connections to Malta.

Qala is a cute town with a lovely piazza area near the church, where there is a great evening scene at the bars/restaurants. It is really conveniently located to get to Victoria and to the harbour for ferries back to Malta, as well as it never being a long drive to any of the coastal areas on Gozo.

We have stayed in Qala before so know the area quite well. Qala is set on a hillside and therefore could be challenging for people with mobility issues. There is a lovely square to sit out, and a number of bars and cafes.
It is close to Hondoq bay, a lovely but popular bay, with a cafe, and a variety of water sport activities, provided by Joy Ride watersports. The guys who own and provide boat excursions are friendly and competitively priced when compared to the offerings from Xlendi and Mgarr, I recommend them, and will use them again when we return.

Qala (pronounced Carla in English) is unspoilt, quaint and quiet (except during festival week when the petards are going off, which was great for a pyro-head like me!!) The views are spectacular and it really comes alive at night. There are only a handful of eateries but they are seriously good. D Bar and II Bukkett where our favourites, the latter has a spectacular dining balcony overlooking Comino and Malta. Food, everywhere was exceptional and the wine was very good, and cheap too!
There are a couple of small general stores in the village, which pretty much had everything but do not forget the daily siesta, between 12 and 4pm when nearly every small shop is shut.

The purpose of our visit was to visit a poorly friend so we did not do any trips or sightseeing. We did however, visit two restaurants which were very good. D-Bar and Ta Vestru. The latter was exceptional. There was also a little cafe opposite the beautiful St Joseph's church. Here we had 2 cheese and ham toasties and 2 coffees for under 5 euros.
Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Spacious shower and private bathroom. Good breakfast available with cereal, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, sweets and cooked breakfast too. Very nice breakfast room with plenty of interesting antique items on display in what used to be a barn. Loved the pool area which was a nice refreshment from the very hot weather. Would surely consider staying again. Accommodation is close to Qala centre too.
Fabulously comfortable hotel with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. We were given great advice about where to swim, where to eat and how best to access different sightseeing locations. The private pool was a delight and made our stay unforgettable. Watching the sunset from the pool was a highlight of our awesome trip to Malta.
DISCLAIMER: This was just 1-nighter, therefore no time for a full experience.
But, if Qala is your destination, this is perfect spot to relax in peace, still in walking distance to Zeppi's (reason to visit) or Xerri l-Bukkett (fav restaurant with THE views).
Be careful - beds are very comfortable, you may want to stay longer! :D
Spatious sunny room with a view and a kettle. Beautiful well-maintained house. Great communication with the owner. Large kitchen to make your own breakfast, really clean. Airy feeling, Qala is quiet, an ideal place to relax far from the crowds.
