Everything! A lovely spacious apartment with all we needed for a comfortable couple of days on Gozo. So relaxing to have a bath, and second toilet was a bonus. It was great to have a washing machine and clothes line as we are travelling for a number of weeks. Well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to cook for ourselves. We loved staying in this home away from home!
Situated 1.7 km from Hondoq ir-Rummien Beach, Gozo Sunset Guesthouse offers an infinity pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

Gorgeous place tucked away in the pretty village of Qala. Bars and restaurants nearby. Super relaxed and characterful. Lovely obliging host
The accommodation was in a nice street, in a nice house.
The accommodation was in a nice street, in a nice house. Although I didn't meet the host, everything was easy to understand, a key with my name was waiting in an envelope at the front door. I liked the authentic architecture and furniture of the house. I enjoyed that everything was thought of in the common areas, there was even a washing machine. Perfect cleanliness.

Qala is relatively unspoiled by excessive building.
Qala is relatively unspoiled by excessive building. Yes there are some newer construction but unlike many places in Malta its not excessive. The village is like a time capsule from 19th/20th century with the amazing parish church at its center. Qala is quiet with the loudest sounds being the bells that sound the quarters from the church during the day. If you are planning to stay in Gozo I recommend Qala.

Qala is one of the best places you can go in gozo.
Qala is one of the best places you can go in gozo. It is filled with everything. Church, bars , restaurants and even daily needs shops. Near there's a beach called hondoq ir rummien and i really recommend if you visit qala in summer to go to the feast of st jiseph. Always on the 1st Sunday of August. It's a wonderful feast.

Qala is a cute town with a lovely piazza area near the church, where there is a great evening scene at the bars/restaurants. It is really conveniently located to get to Victoria and to the harbour for ferries back to Malta, as well as it never being a long drive to any of the coastal areas on Gozo.

We have stayed in Qala before so know the area quite well.
We have stayed in Qala before so know the area quite well. Qala is set on a hillside and therefore could be challenging for people with mobility issues. There is a lovely square to sit out, and a number of bars and cafes.
It is close to Hondoq bay, a lovely but popular bay, with a cafe, and a variety of water sport activities, provided by Joy Ride watersports. The guys who own and provide boat excursions are friendly and competitively priced when compared to the offerings from Xlendi and Mgarr, I recommend them, and will use them again when we return.

First good impression: The building is beautiful from outside, very traditional !
The entry is very secured - safe feeling !
The room we stayed in on the first floor was fabulous! Clean, pretty and comfortable!
The maltese woman who welcomed us was very friendly and it was the fastest check-in ever. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and were able to get the room straight.
Qala village is lovely - quiet but still some food/drink places around.
Dont miss that unique homestay! Very cheap for what it is !!!!
The property is amazing. A combination of rustic charm and modern amenity. Its central to the village of Qala, easy to find and is on the bus route to and from the Gozo ferry at Mgarr & to Victoria. Parking is very easy to find and within a couple minutes of the property. Our room was very comfortable and VERY clean. Everywhere is easy to get to from Qala and there is even a small beach 5 min drive away at Hondoq.
Fabulously comfortable hotel with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. We were given great advice about where to swim, where to eat and how best to access different sightseeing locations. The private pool was a delight and made our stay unforgettable. Watching the sunset from the pool was a highlight of our awesome trip to Malta.
Clean, cozy, comfortable. Kitchen well equipped.
Wide view, very beautiful.
Traveling only by public buses, Qala has a very good access (to the ferry or to Victoria)
the host is very nice and helpful. Perfect place, nice neighborhood, very quiet.
WiFi worked perfectly
good water pressure, nicely hot water
Comfortable beds
Breakfast was really good. Location in a quiet street and near beautiful countryside of Qala Point. The farmhouse has been converted in an attractive way.
