The location was excellent, amazing views. Lovely apartment, the owners were so helpful and friendly.
Our evening meal of fish from the lake was just so good. Wine from their vineyard what more can you ask for. We had a three hour boat trip organised by the hotel on their boat. It was a private tour covering what we wanted to see, excellent value. Cheaper than in town and much better service.
We can't recommend a stay here enough. Our Breakfast was cooked fresh and lovely pepper sauce made fresh, wow.
We just loved our stay.

Wow, what an amazing experience.
From the first moment, it is 100% clear that Marko hosts because he loves doing it. On the night before of our arrival he reached out to us to explain in detail how to reach the place and offered us his boat rides and breakfast/dinner options.
After we comfortably arrived we were greeted by Marko who explained about the property which is all family owned for many years. He helped carry the luggage and showed us to the beautiful apartment, which was incredibly clean, well equipped and welcoming to stay in.
Marko later took us on a boat tour which can only be described as god damn magical. He took his time, explained and answered questions about the heritage and Montenegro and took us to the best spots around lake Skadar. He also brought some snacks, fruits and even his crazy Grappa (alcohol) which was very good.
Later on even though we gave a very short notice, Marko got us an INCREDIBLE dinner from his mother’s local restaurant - a whole fish which was just amazing, including Marko’s amazing homemade wine.
The overall experience felt so personal and authentic that we will definitely be back in the future and also recommend anyone we know to visit Marko

We had our anniversary at the Andela Apartment and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. She has prepared the room with beautiful roses from her garden and even had cake and local wine for us. The room had great views of the landscape and was super comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom. Best of all was the large balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.

We did not stay in Virpazar but walked there about 8 km from our village (Seoca). For (part of) the back trip we arranged a boat bringing us back to our closest beach, like a taxi, for a price much less than a regular boat tour. Retrospectively, this was a good idea.

Cute little town centered around boat tours of the National Park. That tour was certainly the highlight of our stay, so I can understand why so many people come into town for day trips, but we loved staying in town for the night.
A sunset boat trip is absolutely the best way to time to see the National Park, and we had an exceptional dinner and wine tasting at Besac Heritage Center.
Everything is walkable and the town had a great, relaxed energy overall. 1-2 nights here is plenty of time, but certainly worth the stop!

Virpazar is known for Skadar Lake and it did not disappoint us. The stay was little away from city and set in the middle of the nature. Virpazar is charming small town having all essential facilities. Our host arranged the boat tour for us starting from the lovely point away from crowd. Lake skadar is PURE NATURE.

The drive up to Virpazar is on narrow, windy roads with few passing places. You need to be a calm, confident driver.
The property is situated in a quiet hamlet, very scenic, a stony beach by the lake where you can swim is around an hour’s walk or a quick drive. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, serving tasty, wholesome home grown meals at a reasonable price.
One bedroom of our accommodation had air conditioning, the other didn’t, rather warm at night.

The most favourite spot was the acommodation itself, his hospitality and the lake itself. I ate in a reastaurant, in the house and on the beech.
Everywhere was perfect and delicious.
It is easy to get to Virpazar, both from Sutomore and Podgorica.
There is nothing to avoid, everything was great.

It's exactly how it looks on the pictures. Spotlessly clean. 15m walk into Virpazar (but unlit) - perfect if heading in for a boat cruise. Milo was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. His enthusiasm is so infectious. He really makes this place click. He really couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. The setting is beautiful. You could just stop by the pool all day.
The host was amazing and helped us experience this area to its magical best. A kayak on the first day and a boat trip and Garnet Winery visit on the second day (the highlight of our back packing trip around Montenegro). Helpful information and suggestions of what to do were spot on for us. An authentic local property rather than a chain hotel - perfect way for us!
Absolutely faboulous place and host(!) in the middle of nature. Right next to virpazar (6 km), so you can use it as a base for the lake trips and trips to the seacoast as well. Or just stay or work from home. Definitely reccomend the breakfasts! Thank you and see you next time!
