Absolutely faboulous place and host(!) in the middle of nature. Right next to virpazar (6 km), so you can use it as a base for the lake trips and trips to the seacoast as well. Or just stay or work from home. Definitely reccomend the breakfasts! Thank you and see you next time!

Cute little town centered around boat tours of the National Park. That tour was certainly the highlight of our stay, so I can understand why so many people come into town for day trips, but we loved staying in town for the night.
A sunset boat trip is absolutely the best way to time to see the National Park, and we had an exceptional dinner and wine tasting at Besac Heritage Center.
Everything is walkable and the town had a great, relaxed energy overall. 1-2 nights here is plenty of time, but certainly worth the stop!

Virpazar is known for Skadar Lake and it did not disappoint us. The stay was little away from city and set in the middle of the nature. Virpazar is charming small town having all essential facilities. Our host arranged the boat tour for us starting from the lovely point away from crowd. Lake skadar is PURE NATURE.

The drive up to Virpazar is on narrow, windy roads with few passing places. You need to be a calm, confident driver.
The property is situated in a quiet hamlet, very scenic, a stony beach by the lake where you can swim is around an hour’s walk or a quick drive. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, serving tasty, wholesome home grown meals at a reasonable price.
One bedroom of our accommodation had air conditioning, the other didn’t, rather warm at night.

The most favourite spot was the acommodation itself, his hospitality and the lake itself. I ate in a reastaurant, in the house and on the beech.
Everywhere was perfect and delicious.
It is easy to get to Virpazar, both from Sutomore and Podgorica.
There is nothing to avoid, everything was great.

I thought the lake was over-rated.
I thought the lake was over-rated.
We enjoyed a morning kayaking (about 9km) and saw some water birds but I have had much better kayaking experiences elsewhere in pristine environments.
In places the water was smelly, I certainly wouldn't swim in it. There was also rubbish floating in various places. Nice from a distance - climb the short track to the monastary and take in a more distant view.
The township didn't seem particularly special - a base for boat and kayak trips wand a few restaurants.

An incredible place if you like wildlife and easy walking.
An incredible place if you like wildlife and easy walking. A great place to relax for a few days. Lovely lanes and villages to walk looking for tortoises, snakes and lizards. A couple of nice, medium walks off the lanes.
The people are very friendly and can speak pretty good English and like a bit of banter.
Also has some nice relaxed bars and restaurants, no hard sell.
Great location: House Dunja is close enough to Virpazar (3km), thus main road to Podgorica or seaside; in the same time it is close to the beautiful beach Pješačac. Morning sun on the terrace and maginificent view of the lake are also pluses :)
Hosts are hospitable and informative (ask Mr Đuro about Nikač guvno!), appartment super clean, comfortable, well equipped. So yeah we can highly recommend this house!
A lovely warm welcome from Ivana and her family. Enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool on our arrival, followed by drinks on the terrace and a delicious home cooked meal. Great location, close to Virpazar but also surrounded by beautiful countryside. Ivana even arranged a birthday surprise for my husband…thank you so much. Hope we will be back in the future
Very lovely and helpful staff, who will do everything so you can have a great stay! The guesthouse is located a few minutes away (driving) from Virpazar, in a calm location, not far from the lake where you can have a swim. The rooms are comfortable, great dinners and breakfasts. I strongly recommend spending the night there after a cruise in Virpazar!
Nice and cosy villas with the cleanest swimming pool with warm water. Very neat place, friendly owner, delicious food. The bed was very convenient and the house had everything we needed for comfortable stay. It is a very quiet place a few hundred meters from Virpazar. Strongly recommend it for staying.
We were cycling through Montenegro and stayed at this property one night. We like the location in Virpazar, short walk to supermarket and restaurants in town. The room is a small studio apartment. It was a quiet location and comfortable stay.
