Staff was friendly. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location was great. Breakfast was delicious. We asked for rooms with view. They free upgraded us to junior suites with a view. That’s very kind of them. Also, when we check out the hotel, they gave us little gifts to remember the hotel. The experience we had here was exceptional. Thanks for everything.

I absolutely loved Kotor with its scenery, the back drop from my apartment was out of this world. I stayed for 3 whole days just outside the old town in Dobrota but wish I had more time to explore mount Lovcen’s national park.

Great town especially once cruise hordes leave at end of yeh day. Extraordinary drive to the royal capital up a 25 switchback road. Best views in Europe. Love villages and towns right around the fjords. Much to explore

The Bay of Kotor is just beautiful.

The Bay of Kotor is just beautiful. I would advise staying around the Bay a bit away from the city itself. The Old City can get very busy and over run with tourists unfortunately, especially when the cruise ships are in. It’s much nicer to stay further around the Bay away from the crowds. It’s also a perfect location to use as a central point to visit other areas like Herceg Novi as you can scoot across in a ferry to the other side for a few dollars. Be aware if you have a car that Kotor streets are narrow and not really set up to accommodate the amount of traffic that is using them so you can get stuck in a lot of traffic jams in the city itself. As mentioned if you stay further around the bay on the opposite side to Kotor you will find lovely accommodation right on the water and great restaurants with far fewer people & can watch the boats and cruise ships pass. The ride up the Kotor Cable Car is a MUST. Extraordinary and breathtaking views over the entire Bay system. Well worth the spend.

Old town is stunning but 100% tourist town.

Old town is stunning but 100% tourist town. The rest of Kotor is not that nice, but ok. It is very expensive considering its location. The scenery is stunning, mountains and sea... but the traffic is terrible and very poluting. Dinner here cost more than in many Western Europe places.

We hiked up to an abandoned monastery on one side of the bay and to the top of the fort above the main town on the other side. Wonderful views. Took a dip in the bay, water was clean (and a little chilly in late September). Town was charming and the ancient fortifications were impressive to see.

This was our second stay at Livia’s apartments and it was amazing! Livia is the perfect host, the apartments are clean, well equipped and comfortable. They are also well located within Kotor Old Town and close to great cafes, bars and restaurants. We love the apartments as they have a modern finish and are really safe and secure. There is also a well maintained courtyard available for guests to use as outside space which is lovely! We will book to stay here again when we return to Montenegro.

Host was super friendly and kind! Apartment was clean and comfy. Nice apartment where we found everything we needed. Very good location. 10 minutes walk to Kotor old town and 7 minutes to the beach. There are a lot of stairs like in every city in Montenegro, which didn't bother us. Quiet and calm area. Price/ quality ratio was really good😊 Thanks for the accommodation!

Comfortable apartment in pedestrian old town, just inside one of the city gates. Super nice hosts made check in easy, the apartment was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. Parking can be hard to find (or expensive) in Kotor, but Marko went with us to find a space for free, then helped us get our luggage into the hotel. He also gave us guidance for sight seeing.

The owner sent clear instructions for check in and answered our questions over WhatsApp as it was a public holiday in Montenegro. The room was so lovely and spacious with an amazing view from the windows, and it was in a beautiful part of the Old Town about 2 min walk from North Gate. They provided cold water fountain which was nice.
