Chisinau is one of the best city in Europe, when i said that i mean like, is very safe. You can walk around with no problem. Around is very peaceful. Here is not like in Paris or London that people to have knife or gun, here you will not see that. Restaurants are very good. Also Chisinau is the greenest city in Europe that explain everything about nature, a clean air, a very positive atmosphere at night.Traditions are very important here and faith. So if you are coming here please respect the christian church.

The food in the city is good.
The food in the city is good. I recommend visiting La Placinte for the traditional food experience, which has a wide variety of options. The city centre is renovated, clean and well kept. Further from the city centre, there is rather nothing exciting, and the city looks much worse. The Cricova Winery is a must-have visit; even for non-alcoholic drinkers, it's an amazing experience. Buses are generally easy to catch; you need to enter and wait for a ticket-selling person, and it always costs 6 lei. The country is particularly known for honey and wine production. The National Museum of Art is surprisingly good!

We stayed for one night at the Time Hotel&SPA in Chișinău, Moldova. Very impressed. Staff polite and helpful. Facilities excellent all round. Will stay there again. Happy New Year to the stuff and the guests! Craciun fericit! Noroc și sănătate!
Sleep at the Chisinau only if you love slightly crumbling historic hotels. No useless fancy upscale stuff here, but infinite charme and retro feels in abundance (and also spot-clean bathroom). I'd definitely overnight there again.
Mon Ami is my "go to hotel" in Chisinau. I have stayed there many times. Great location, quiet, clean and big rooms. Breakfast is good and staff are very helpful.
