The location is good, I know that the rooms are also ok in general. But I got a room that was not even for guest, as this room was in section for stuff. Also room without windows, with the smell of mold as it is not room originally, i think it was warehouse before. And receptionist told me, there is no a/c as it is not installed yet, so in room without windows and no a/c, there is no chances to ventilate air

Chisinau was a superb destination. I went to do the marathon and I'm so glad I did - people were so great and the city overall had such a lovely feeling with many calm, green spaces. It's also a great value destination. I have already recommended to colleagues now I'm back at work and will myself definitely go back for a longer trip.

We could see the real face of the country instead of some artificial tourist paradise. Not a typical tourist city, but city centre was modern, clean, and safe!
People are not prepared for foreigners, so almost no one speaks English, and menus in restaurants are also in Romanian and Russian.
I recommend one of the biggest restaurant chain in Moldova: La Placinte, where you can taste a lot of local foods, plus cheap and cozy.

A very nice city, with plenty of things to do and discover. We choosed this time the green areas, Dendrarium park and Botanical gardens, along with meeting some friends from Chisinau. Excellent restaurants with local specific of international cuisine, at affordable prices. Even after many visits, you can discover more new nice things and deeper understand the (reasonable) coexistence of two extremely different cultures/ethnicities.
Finding where to park a car is not very easy, but it finally works reasonably, there are lots of possibilities even for free.

Chisinau is a great place to visit. The restaurants are great and very inexpensive just like the wine. Great parks and lot's of greenery everywhere. A very walk able city and if you need taxis they are cheap and plentiful. I lived in Chisinau for 8 years and loved it, in fact I married a woman from there. The medical care at Med Park is 1st rate and inexpensive, which is why we traveled from Turkey back there. $800 for a complete medical checkup including: Heart, Digestive, Neck and Genital area ultra sounds; 5 or 6 pages of blood work tests; Stress Test; chest x ray & mammogram appointments with cardiologist, neurologist, ob Dr or urologist, neurologist and a family Dr. Great medical & Dental care at affordable discount prices. A great Medical Tourism town along with the wine and not to be missed winery tours. I enjoyed my Medical Tourism, wine and restaurant 4 day tour.

Unfortunately people around there are really mean and argumentative. They almost were hitting us, just because we( me and my colleagues), were obstructing their way, which is totally false. Because of that and the judging and hostile looks we barely enjoyed our stay in Chișinău. It is not developed as we expected, they say that we are poor, but I frankly can admit that their country and people must change their mind and mentality. We’re not against them at all. But I believe it can be better. Good sights: I liked their mall( MallDova), that the grocery stores were a lot more supplied than ours, also the attractive shopping prices, we have seen the amazing arch of triumph, statues, buildings and some views, but I can’t say that I recommend the country. We arrived at Chișinău with HiSky’s aircraft from Bucharest( rlly nice flight), we ate at Andy’s, La Plăcinte mostly and some restaurants from the middle of the city.

In comparison to last year the number of cars has tripled! Big traffic jams everywhere! Bit strange: even if official language is romanian and everywhere anything is written in romanian, majority of people are speaking russian.. if you enter a restaurant, fuel station etc., they speak to you in russian first..
Everything is beyond great. The best value for money hotel I have ever been to. The location is very close to the centre. The room is spacious and so clean. The staff at the reception (Doina and Emily) is very very helpfully and attentive. We got full instruction on the best sight seeing in Chisinau:) in a nutshell💪The breakfast is the best (the pancakes are njami and I have never tasted a capuchino so great:) there is also free parking available. I could go on and on …. But come and see for yourself!
The staff very friendly. Location excellent. Room huge with bath and shower over it, did not work out how to use shower without soaking bathroom. Breakfast nice.
If initially I thought hotel bit on the expensive side I found everything in Chisinau is more expensive than I expected, still cheap compared to UK but matches Bucharest prices when I thought would be cheaper.
We loved this hotel !!! Good welcoming in Chisinau in this new brand Hotel, the staff was kind and in the room we had water and delicious Moldavian wine. Our room was extra large, as well as our bed. Very comfortable bed. Super clean.
