Not so many hotel choices in this location. This one seems lost in time, halfway between the Soviet era and the typical, ugly architecture of the early 2000s. Plenty of parking, elevator, nice and helpful staff. If you're in transit, this is the best pick.
Balti is a small town with not much to do. We were there for a day and a half on business, and saw everything we were interested in. As a tourist spot, it lacks. . .well, everything. However, next time we have business in Moldova, we will go back to Balti (assuming our business can be done there, of course), It's small and we walked everywhere because everything we needed was close together. The prices were reasonable, and our business was completed quickly.
