I felt Marrakech was a blend of Europe and Asia with a sprinkling of the Arab world. It felt like an exciting adventure wandering through the souk alleyways and we enjoyed the shopping. There were lots of sites and gardens to visit too. The rooftop restaurants were fantastic. Weather was perfect in January. As 2 women travelling together we felt completely safe both day and night.

I like the vibrant atmosphere of the medina, people were really friendly and respectful. I enjoy visiting all the little crafts shops with amazing hand made unique items in really affordable price. I love the Cyber Garden - a real oasis of greenery and fresh air. I like the fact that many local people can speak English which make communication so much easier. I like the traditional food and so many places to eat.
What I did not like in medina was the fact that two stroke engine motorbikes drive through very narrow streets between shops and pedestrians, making so much noise and pollution and it was heard to breath sometimes .

You have to have your wits about you to enjoy Marrakech.
You have to have your wits about you to enjoy Marrakech. It is noisy, busy and full of life! We found 3 days just perfect to enjoy the sights and atmosphere. Be confident in saying no to being pestered but not afraid to enter into conversations. We had some great ones.
Get to the sights you want to see early, before the crowds! Don’t be afraid to walk around and get off the beaten path. Early morning, as the sun rises in the city, is magical.
Watch out for the crazy mopeds in the narrow streets! Easy to get hit as they drive far too fast!
Marrakech is more than Djemaa El Fna! We stayed away from this tourist trap as much as possible! Visit the peaceful gardens in the city and stop to enjoy the peace and tranquility of them, as they were designed to be enjoyed.
We loved Ben Youssef Madrassa, Jardin Majorelle and Le Jardin Secret. The Saadian Tombs were worth a visit were interesting but probably overpriced for what there was to see.

Marrakech has a wealth of culture that is a great experience, with a small mix of modernism. It is easy to get around and is nowhere near as daunting as some reviews state. We are welcomed and not 'badgered' as much as reported, my wife felt very safe and ecure.

Would 100% recommend. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is tasty. Location is good and within walking distanvce of the medina. What makes this hotel exceptional is the staff! They were extremely welcoming and hospitable. To name but a few Mohammed, Manal and Said provided a 5 star service and we can't thank them enough for making our stay in Marakesh so comfortable. Beautiful city and beautiful people. Would not hesitate in booking again..
Very nice location and hotel aesthetic. Everything was very clean and organized. Moussa is the best manager. Very kind, cool and always eager to help with our reservation, transfer and also booked very nice restaurants. Moussa also did us the best breakfast and his simplicity melted our hearts. Never felt safer. Moussa is the best! 5 star person all the way!!!
Lovely grounds, fantastic location. Restaurants and shops directly across the road and centre of Marrakech only 5 mins down the road. Breakfast was really nice. Concierge and the lads outside helping with bags, taxis couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms are basic enough for a 5 star hotel but the bed was huge and very comfy
Breakfast was Good.
Rooms very noisy
There is no door between the sleeping part of the room and the entrance of the room -people in the corridor can be heard all night long.
This is a hotel for mainstream tour operator guests.
In no way a 5 star hotel.
This is a complete gem. International 5 star hotels could learn a thing or two from this place. Wonderful service delivered by Abdullah. Delightful room, in equally delightful setting. Cannot recommend highly enough.
