Conversations with the host about a wide range of topics, from sustainable goods, eco- lifestyles in near the desert, to tourism options. The large compound is a pleasant garden. The host helped me setting up a bed on the roof to beat the heat ("and sleep like a Moroccan"), think stars over date palm fronds.
The host booked a desert experience including 4x4 trip into the sandy desert at M'Hamid for me, was very convenient.

Lovely authentic mud-built riad; great service from owner Abdul (he speaks French & Arabic) & fantastic food from Azeeza. Pool was fantastic; particularly as we have kids. Would highly recommend for a stay in an authentic family home. It’s not high luxe and we liked it all the better for it. Felt very Moroccan.
