The guest house was a short walk to the beginning of the Adams Peak trail. This was a perfect location for us as this was our reason for visiting. We arrived late in the evening around 9 PM and were offered dinner which we happily accepted. It was excellent. We did the hike, came back and had lunch. This tiny guest house had better food than many pricey hotels we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The rooms are simple, but functional, and I slept like a baby. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly accommodating with everything we needed. We are very grateful for the hospitality.

Amazing hosts, great base for hiking activities in the region. We came here for 3 nights, stayed 6 as it felt so cozy. It’s a small family business, each family member is super nice and helpful. Mama cooks delicious food per your order. The brothers help you with organizing anything you need. We did Gartmore Falls, Adam’s Peak and Pekoe Trail. Then they brought us to Hatton to catch the train to Colombo. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for the wonderful time and hope to see you again.

Amazing view to the lake and to Adam's peak mountain! The staff was really kind and the food was great! It is in a wonderful location and we loved everything in this place! Best place to relax before or after climbing the Adam's peak!

Maskeliya is a scenic country town with views of Adam's Peak and the Maskeliya reservoir. It was easy to get to and there are all basic amenities. We also did a tour to one of the Tea Estates nearby to visit the tea factory.

A nice village with very few tourists. You can walk into the tea fields and have a very authentic experience of the people living there..
The ride to the Adam's peak is about 20 minutes and it is easy to get there and back again.
