A centrally located business hotel. Staff was very friendly, but they were not much use for organizing onward travel (business hotel, not tourist hotel!). My room had a nice view from the 5th floor on the Mekong river and there is a roof tares with an even better view of the Mekong and surrounding area.

The room had everything that we needed. The shower was hot, the air conditioning worked and the room was clean. The owner was friendly and helpful. They made breakfast for us and went across the road to buy some bananas for us when we wanted some.

If you are looking for a rural experience then you found the right place. Falling asleep among chicken, ostriches and cats and dogs in the midst of a swampy area.
Waking up to the monks chanting their dogma is a totally new experience.
The staff is very helpful, friendly and can help you with almost anything.
Breakfast was hearty and the card had loads of delicious meals with vegetarian options. When I ordered some fried veggies host quickly went to the market to get the greens - won't get any fresher than that.
